If female, they are cared for 1-2 years and then GO BACK TO THE FIRST STEP. 3. @ The mother is milked every single day, including pregnant days (using prolactin and oxytocin injections) so that each mother continues producing 8.5 litres of milk every single day to meet the tremendous milk demand of India (210 million ton in 2023) 4. @ Within 5 years, as milk production drops, the mother is labeled spent/ unproductive. Now, they are either left stray, from where they find their way to the slaughterhouses OR they are sold to slaughterhouses for LEATHER and MEAT. 🟠🟠🟠(Fishy fact: India remains among the top 3 exporters of LEATHER and MEAT. )🟠🟠🟠 Thus it is a *tightly knit business* methodology based on maximizing profit by *maximum utilisation of each and every product* obtainable from the Mothers So, what's the END RESULT? A beautiful (sarcasm) DYNAMIC EQUILIBRIUM. BIRTH RATE = DEATH RATE = 80 cattles/ min What can a single person do? How does it matter? Nothing? If 5 % Indians turn vegan ( stop dairy use), due to fall in demand, the DYNAMIC EQUILIBRIUM will shift to: BIRTH RATE = DEATH RATE = 76 cattle/ min A reduction in 4 deaths PER MINUTE Hardly a difference for *US* World of a difference for *THOSE 4*
