    When I got my PR in 2014, i was excited to get my parents since I was single that time no family/ relatives in Canada. So I called IRCC. The agent told me that i can sponsor them through PGP which i knew I would not pass because of financial assessment. He said if I included my parents as dependants in PR application, they could be PR as well without financial assessment. If I only Knew this I would do it. But its too late. I learned my lesson..always ask and call IRCC for clarification than people around you..😔

      @newbiecanadian 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there, It depends. Canada has social security agreements with a few countries. This means that if your immigrant senior parents worked in one of those countries, they may qualify for a pension in Canada. I'd suggest to have your parents check their home country's pension system to see if they have a social security agreement with Canada. Hope that helps :)

    Hi, I have questions that I hope will be answered. 1. Does a remote job can affect the PR application for international students later on? 2. What if you are an international student taking a healthcare course and still choose to do a remote job for CSR? Is it still doable? I truly appreciate your reply, and I am into it. opportunity; however, I am skeptical since I have 0 knowledge about this kind of opp. I am trying to understand how it works. Thank you so much in advance :)

    • @newbiecanadian
      @newbiecanadian 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi V, If you work remotely for a Canadian company that offers services within Canada, that counts toward your PR requirements. You will need to show proof of employment such as employment letter, pay stub, T4, etc. However, remote work for a company outside of Canada is considered foreign work and wouldn't count toward your PR requirements. Hope that helps :)

  • @CanadaMath
    @CanadaMath ปีที่แล้ว

    In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world. Their are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.

    Thank you for this video. My program is one year and is it okay to apply for my wife and 2children? The student is in Canada already?

      Hi Osarfo, Yes, you can. However, in the event that their visa gets approved, it's only valid for as long as your student visa is valid. Hope that helps :)

    Can a student bring her parents to work? I'm planning to send our child to study there instead of us. Thanks

      Hi Edward, At this time, work permit eligibility only applies to spouses. Hope that helps :)

      Hi Ambika, Yes, you can. As long as you meet the admission requirements of the college/university of your choice :)

    Well explained - I think best option is to apply as the only person going , then bring family as visitors.
