The Bodhran Meets the Lambeg at Stormont
มุมมอง 2.8K16 ปีที่แล้ว
The Bodhran meets the Lambeg on stage at The Global Day of Prayer 2006 from Northern Ireland. These instruments are deeply significant of divided communities. Followed by "Let It Be Shouted From The Rooftops" by Padraig Twomey, which is an aspirational and inspirational poem that brings divided communities closer through " the beating of the drum which calls us home"

Fr. Stan, if you see my comment, please contact me. I became a fan of yours when I saw you sing and play bass at Dowling Catholic High School around 5 years ago. I'm just as passionate about my music as you are about yours. I play guitar in a rock band called Display Case but recently I think I've been called to the priesthood and I'm about to go into the seminary next year. I want to learn more about you have used your musical talent in your ministry. Thank you and God bless you!
these two drums don't work together..
God bless him! He is using his God given talents to evangelize. A+ all around.
Cool!
@wjweigand IMHO, our Lord came to us and walk in our shoes and suffered as human. Remember all that he did, how he eat with sinners, and how the high priests look at him..... This priest is addressing the people of the Bronx in their language, and walking on their shoes so the can start to feel Jesus thru him. When you look at him, try to do it as one of the folks form the Bronk waiting in line for a plate of soup does it.

Only just found this. I was part of that team of drummers and also blew the Yemenite Shofar (Antelope's horn) as part of this. I was just about to blow it and the video edit here cut me off!!! There's some more very cool drumming as well, which wasn't shown either. We did this piece at Summer Madness that year as well.
