I acquired one of these relics and I'm going to get working on it next week. I've been fixing chainsaws for two weeks (a Stihl 011AV from 1980 and a Stihl 011AVT from 1985, both run better than my two year old MS170) so I'm in fixit mode and I want to get it going. It's great to see someone tearing one apart so thank you for making this video

Very helpful video, just found a 110 super complete and rebuildable, into the motor now, I don’t think it has been abused or used much, impressive how overbuilt everything is compared to what we have now, don’t know anyone into these cool old machines, so my path is new learning about this world, looking forward to mowing with this sweet little overbuilt unit

I have an older 212 and I changed both the drive belts about a year half /two years ago and last winter I went to plow snow and The back wheels just spin more than they ever have,,,I’m wondering would my splines in my spindles/hubs be bad or do I need to readjust my variator again???

My late dad owned my 110 from 77 to 2019.. been working it like a dog the last 3 years since his passing. Old reliable. Edit. 1969 4 speed variable speed. Deck only as of now

Sweet! I have a chainsaw collection of around 60saws, And a couple of those are Pioneer saws. 1959 pioneer 600, Holiday 2,, partner 950 demo saw, Great little saws! I was noticing that your pioneer has the same body as a 1977 Remington chainsaw that I have in my collection. 😉
