老师好呀 Great video! Just one question in 4:53: Is there another nuance if asking "你是什么时候去张家界的?" Thanks in advance
你好呀! That's a good question! The meanings of these two sentences are basically the same and can often be used interchangeably. The subtle difference is that your sentence emphasizes '什么时候去张家界,' which tends to focus more on the overall time frame of the trip to Zhangjiajie, while mine emphasizes '什么时候去,' which directly points to the specific time of the action 去. Did I explain that clearly?
I'm always putting my time words in the wrong place in the sentence, this was a helpful review! thank you!
谢谢留言~哈哈
You’re welcome to share your own sentence about your past experiences in the comments below! I’d love to read them! 😊
I'm happy I've found your channel. I like the way you explain grammar subjects. Thank you.
Glad to hear that! Thanks a lot!
This part 4:25 made me understand more of 是 and 的. Thankyouu!!
I'm so glad to hear that! Keep it up! 😊
Nice explanation, especially the 是…的。我们是在TH-cam认识的🤓
挺会整啊!Thanks for your comment😅
This is a great video and a channel! My name is Khalid, and as a social media & digital marketing coordinator, would it be possible to contact you through email or any? I'd be very grateful and thank you so much, Miss 😊
You did a great job. Thank you very much. Very clear and very helpful.
Hao wo shuo shihua..ni zhen piaoliang😂
比如说;(1)我们用中文聊了半个小时。
他这个星期休假。 S + time + verb + object
我给你买了咖啡。 S + target + verb ,+ object I enjoy watching this I give like button
Xin qing bu hao😬
This was solid.... Very clear and helpful for those ready to start communicating with others.
In English grammar the 'target' is referred to as the indirect object. It usually comes between the verb and the (direct) object. The biggest adjustment for me is putting adverbs of time, place and method between the subject and verb. I've found frequent listening practice is helping to make it feel more natural to me.
Frequent listening practice is a great way to get used to it. Thanks for sharing!
老师,我最近在聊天的时候一般找到关于这个话题很多苦难,主要是因为在我的母语有完全不同的词序。尽管如此,感谢你的视频我现在对这个主题有更清楚的想法。多谢你!
我很高兴视频对你有帮助,继续加油!
very useful thank you , plese make more sentence pattern videos :P
Thanks for the feedback! I’ll keep your suggestion in mind
我星期二用公交车去了看医生。 Hii, I’m still a beginner, completed hsk 1. Hope this sentence is correct! By the way amazing video🎉
@wereemi, it might be a better to say "我星期二坐了公交车去看医生。 坐=ride in transportation. 加油!
Good try! Just a small correction: when talking about taking transportation like buses, trains, or planes, we use '坐(zuò)' instead of '用' (yòng): 我星期二坐公交车去看了医生. '坐' (zuò) literally means 'to sit' or 'to take a seat'. Keep up the great work!

Xie xié!!!for sharing your vídeos!!!
Glad you like them! 😊
it was very helpful, thank you for video💞
Try creating your own sentences using the patterns we covered in this video. Practice makes perfect! 加油!💪
Time Subject Manner Verb Place Direct Object Indirect Object Largest to smallest in size, most distant to most recent in time, most general to most specific, furthest to nearest. Subject or Time can go first but it seems more often time goes first. 您很美丽的老师. 加油!
Like German Chinese has separable verbs. Unlike German the separated portion is not always subordinated to the end of the sentence. 我给你买了咖啡 Gei here is a verb. So is mai. they are separated. it is not "you bought" 你买了 S V IO VP DO but i've never seen anyone try to break down Chinese grammar that wa. Usually the try to say verbs are acting as nouns or adverbs or just gloss over it. You are a very good teacher.
Your accent in English is very good. 你英语发音正确的
Great video! Your teaching style is clear and engaging, making learning Chinese so much fun!👍

Hi. I love to write only in pinyin😊😊 and I was wondering if others would understand me?? 😊😊 people understand me when I speak Chinese which is very good that I am understood ❤❤🎉🎉 a family member told me to learn a language the way that I love to and is enjoyable for me 😊😊
Hi! Writing in pinyin is great for practicing pronunciation and basic communication. But it might be challenging for others to fully understand more complex ideas or texts.
