Where r the trees!
I have not been there for over 10 years and there are a whole lot of new places.
That's the old cruise route. Had alot of fun there about 25yrs ago when I was a teenager..
Thank you for the tour of Booneville. At 17:10, you crossed a bridge, but there didn't appear to be any water below. Is that a dry river? Speaking of "dry", I didn't see a single bar on the tour.
Owsley is a dry county.
I’ve never seen water that bad and this is the person who’s had gray tinted tap water thanks to Rockcastle county water treatment plant
2.29 for gas. Those were the days.
You try both the hot and cold water? If so, this is unacceptable. He better get this under control before I have to come up there and file a report about this.
Is that the public water?
good job
my family believe that my great grandfather came from here. my great grandmother worked as a nurse at the end of the war in Oxford, England. the hospital at the time was an American army hospital treating injured troops that had gone (and later to be stationed) in Germany. At some point a man named Harry Searle, an American G.I. from Booneville, Kentucky. (maybe, my grandmother was a bit hazy on this part. there are many Boonevilles'. But i did look up American service records and did find a Harry Searle from Booneville, Kentucky that was last stationed in oxford before his decommission) My Great Grandmother and this man got on very well and one night "showed there affection for each other". Soon he left to go home to America, however the times being what they were they had no means to contact each other (or maybe they didn't want to) Anyway cut forward 9 months and my great Grandmother had given birth to my grandmother. my grandmother has made many attempts to try to contact this man but had never had any luck. I have been taking up the quest from my Nan as i have a bit of a better chance knowing how to use the internet. from what i have been able to piece together, i believe he died in the 80s either in Arizona or California, as there are 2 death certificates for what appear to be the same man. 1 for california, 1 for Arizona. Any way i have rambled on enough. I'm just casting a line out there to see if by chance there is someone from Booneville seeing this that knows of or remembers a Searle Family in the area. would love to know more about this man who is technically my Great Grandfather. Thank You
Need the camera in the dash (you know they call them dash cams) and less interior of the car, most of the screen is the inside of your car.
Be careful in the comments Mayor Scott Jackson says anybody who complains about the water is just a trouble maker

In the 60’s, the poor grew and hunted for food while keeping their homes clean. Most had decency, they were well mannered and were the God believing type of people, unlike the lazy filthy drug dealing, seditious Trumpster cultist trash seen today. Nowadays, it’s an embarrassment to call this place “ancestral land”. (My people were the early settlers in this area). Owsley and Lee counties leads the nation in teen pregnancy, high school drop outs, poverty, food stamp recipients, etc, etc while they continue to vote for its own problems while joining terrorist cult groups such as the Poor Boys, KKK and other anti American terrorist hate groups.
Thank you so much for posting this video. I feel as though you brought me home.
Is this Chimney Rock on Old Landing rd?
Nice road trip through memory lane. I haven’t been to Beattyville much since the 70’s and it changed so much, I barely recognize some places. It has changed, for the better through out the years.
How many times we going to cross that bridge, LOL. My hometown.
Thank you so very much for posting this video, It really brings me home. I loved it. please keep posting
