Hi Dorian. Bummer about the Stanford Cardinal. I knew Notre Dame last week would be tough but didn't think they would get crushed at home to Utah. Interesting Lee, Stanford was favored by just two points for last night's game so it seems that the oddsmakers knew something that the rest of us didn't.

As for a fantasy football video, I didn't get a chance to do one this weekend. My great uncle passed away Friday night so I have been busy with family stuff.

Yep, Stanford got dominated in the 4th quarter and it's no surprise since Notre Dame was rushing our QB really well for most of the game. The score was close for 3 quarters but you kind of knew that Notre Dame was winning the war in the trenches. Even after beating USC, I never felt Stanford was a top 10 team and yesterday proved why. Still, I feel we could have beaten Notre Dame if the game was played at Stanford. I don't think Notre Dame is as good as the other teams in the top 5. As for UW, they do belong in the playoff conversation. They are crushing their opponents and if they just had a better kicking game, they would have beaten Auburn in a hostile environment in Georgia. USC's QB JT Daniels will be really special. He is super young to be a starter but give him time. 2 years from now he will be a legit Heisman candidate and potential top 5 pick in the draft. Just needs more seasoning.

#7 in the country! Still, I don't think they are nearly as good as the teams ahead of them. The next two games won't be easy against a much improved Oregon team and then Notre Dame. Both games are on the road. If they can win both of those games and not have any slip ups against Utah, ASU, and WSU, then beating UW on the road on Nov. 3 will define our season.

Hi Dorian. I did OK yesterday ... my point spread predictions were better! I guess there was just a lot of offense that even with Brady, Gronk, Kamara, and Conner, you didn't perform as well as the winning teams who had those players plus Drew Brees and Michael Thomas. For tonight, I am thinking of fading Todd Gurley. I know ... sounds crazy. I think the duo of Crowell and Powell for NYJ makes some sense. The Jets will want to protect their rookie QB in his first NFL regular season game. The Jets like to lean on the run game so expect about 30 touches combined for Crowell and Powell. Plus Slay will be on Robbie Anderson and the crowd noise will be tough for the Jets passing game. I also like pairing Stafford with either Golden Tate or Marvin Jones (both if you can afford it). The Lions passing game is a very good one. I think Jared Cook is an obvious choice at tight end and DST is either Rams or Lions. For the rest of the roster, consider Cooper Kupp and Jordy Nelson. Both are reliable WRs who run their routes well and should get 6 - 8 targets each and make the most of their opportunities. You could try Brandin Cooks but he is too inconsistent.
