Never heard of these stories before! Just Santas's list of naughty and nice children and the coal placed in stockings! Were these additions to try and scare kids into being good? Sounds like St. Nick in league with the devil! What a world, what a world...of so much misbehaving by humans, mostly by the adults.

I have just visited your video of Conway castle again and i still find it fascinating. I have to admit i never heard of Richard 11 ever been there imprisoned or otherwise, and ive not long read a novel on him and im now on another by the same Author , he at the moment is in the Tower of london , with Henry 1V on the throne. So can you tell me when he was at Conwy Castle exactly?

I'd not recommend going into the woods and tormenting her by shouting that you've stolen her baby. Apart from it being cruel, spirits can attach and follow people. It's best not to provoke imo. I do wish someone was able to help her cross over though, aka, a genuine, skilled medium.

This is near the village I used to live in, all the locals know the story well. There's also talk of the spirit of a man who committed s in those woods. He was a cousin of my dad.

This is my mother's home, where she was born. We are unfortunately not nobility, but my mother's side of the family were caretakers at the castle for a long, long time. I've heard of the Grey Lady. My grandfather had to leave Derbyshire in the 1950's to look for work and their part of the family eventually settled in Leicestershire but sometimes I just wish I could go back in time and place, to hear more of the stories that my ancestors could tell of the castle and its history!

I can state with certainty that there ARE spirits that haunt the earth. A woman I went to high school with told me a few years ago that her family's home in our home town was haunted by the spirit of an old man and young boy. Her sister and mother had seen them on many occasions although the woman mentioned above said she had never personally seen either of the spirits. Side note: the woman's parents were looking to sell their haunted house and went to an open house at a gorgeous Queen Anne Victorian they thought of buying. For some reason the owner of the house was at the open house and the woman's father came right out and asked the owner if their house was haunted. Answer: YES! There was no way they would buy that house moving from one haunted house to another. They were trying to get away from their haunted house as the daughter who had seen the spirits hated that house and wanted to move.
