Do Not Be A Pawn In Someone Else's Game
มุมมอง 369 หลายเดือนก่อน
A light-hearted discussion on the power and nature of both Commercial Advertising and Propaganda in our daily lives as Americans. It was nice to take break from heavy content, but I still feel this is a meaningful episode!
Surviving an Evil Miracle
มุมมอง 789 หลายเดือนก่อน
Part 2 of this series about Joy and I. The previous episode was all about the good. Unfortunately, there was bad, tragic, and terrible too. Bear with me, this was painful.
May You Rest in Peace, Joy
มุมมอง 859 หลายเดือนก่อน
This may end up to be the most meaningful content I create for quite some time. I'd like to tell you all about my best friend Joy. Why she deserved to be known by more people than just myself and a few others, and why losing her nearly broke me. I hope you find something beautiful from this.
Yay Politics!
มุมมอง 369 หลายเดือนก่อน
Today I'm talking politics! But you'll be happy to hear it will have almost nothing to do with words like Republican or Democrat. Let's think like big boys and girls.
Origins of a People Pleaser

In so many ways we did it to ourselves bro. I don’t hold it against anyone to think I might have been unapproachable these past few years. Thank you for reaching out, I love you man.

Dammit, Stephen. I have no words to express how grieved I am for your loss. Last year I found out that she passed and I’ve been too cowardly to reach out. You deserve better than that from me and I’m deeply sorry that I wasn’t there for you. Thank you for sharing the radiance and the pain of Joy’s story and honoring her so beautifully.

Do you have any specific books or videos that have sparked your love of politics or the constitution that you would recommend?

With entertainment value, there is a great one-woman show on Amazon Prime called “What the Constitution Means to Me” which was fantastic. I disagreed with her politics at points and n the show but she is just so charming, funny, and passionate. Highly recommend. For an Author, there was a great man named Robert G. Ingersoll that was a highly censored man in his time for being an outspoken Agnostic during the early 1900’s. He was an amazing speaker, and the way he talks about the beauty of our secular government and Shakespeare is truly special. He is a hero of mine 😊

Hey man I enjoyed listening to your thoughts, I feel like I’m in a similar boat, I grew up with some catholic family and even though my immediate family was pretty chaotic i still had that Christian influence, but to me it always seemed like a delusion. The older I got the more distant I grew from religion altogether, and I found more interest in philosophy. It can make finding in meaning life challenging though, and I think that it’s worth it to seek further for the truth rather than blind acceptance of someone else’s idea of the truth

It sounds to me, that you didn't give up the faith, but moved from Christianity to Heliocentric Pseudoscientism Cult.

From the -weird feeling of missing it, -not trusting your own emotions, -the expanded appetite that can’t be filled, -objective reality over wishing something to be true, it’s so relatable and well put into words, even that feeling of not aspiring to shake anyone else’s faith despite loosing your own. -The problem of being presented with a path and the measuring rod for perfection. -The big epiphany. -The way you describe the constitution. Thank you for stepping out and sharing all of it. There’s so much to be developed and I look forward to hearing more. You do have a lot of valid experience. Hang on to the momentum, we’re here for the ride.
