Established in 2009 to accommodate the rising number of flutists in Jakarta, Indonesia, JakFlute Community Ensemble now houses both seasoned professional musicians and students of Marini Widyastari and Metta F. Ariono. JakFlute has performed in various events such as:
- Japan Matsuri (2010)
- Flute and Piano Recital by Viviana Guzman and Mahani Teave (2014)
- KumpulKlasik by Klasikanan on Car Free Day (2014)
- Indonesia Morning Show by NetTV in 2015 (2015)
- Bakti Sosial AbNon Barat (2017)
- Music Day Sekolah Kembang (2017)

Albert Franz Doppler (16 October 1821 - 27 July 1883) was a flute virtuoso and a composer best known for his flute music. He also wrote one German and several Hungarian operas for Budapest, all produced with great success. His ballet music was popular during his lifetime. (Source: Wiki)
