Lifting your Volvo 240 - Rear

So I had some clearance issues driving my old Volvo around the farm. Sometimes I barely I get through on the forest roads around here. But fear not. Lifting a 240 is very easy. Haven't found many videos of these scopes or rifle on TH-cam. Thought I'd put one out there of mine. Hope you enjoy it. Not a professional in any way. I just enjoy shooting and hunting.

The finest lever action ever made🙌 I am a 60+ year gun collector and having owned hundreds of rifles over the years and being a reloader and hunter too I can say anything Sako is quality like the way American rifles used to be!

The crispness of the trigger break on that Sako Finnwolf lever action comes across loud and clear through head phones .. What a beautiful rifle.. The fact that it's chambered in the ultra popular (for USA) .308 winchester just makes it that much more desirable as an all round hunting rifle.. There is nothing in North America that won't fall to a 7.62mm 180 grain soft point.

Turns out it's garbage when it gets dark. The lowest brightness setting is way way too bright making it useless in low light conditions. So it's been tossed.
Hey, I was wondering how that lift had held up over the years. Also, what's the actual rubber thing called you used. I can't find em anywhere lol
Still in place working fine. It's just common rubber engine mounts I got off an old Ford. But I recommend getting the heavy duty trailer springs ftom the 245. I'm not sure my setup will pass th safety inspection.
Have you lifted the fronts yet?
What brad of sight mounts are you using.
Update! The scope has since failed. It took in water during a rainy day of hunting. Store had discontinued selling it and I got a Vortex Crossfire2 as replacement.
I think you might have been a little better off with one of the classic vomz scopes. Maybe a 4x32. The newer style Vomz "M" scopes actually are inferior in many ways. The oculars slop around a little (affecting zero) and the paint is super soft. I've had both styles myself and have actually removed Leupolds from my rimfires to install the older P4x32 scopes.

Better check it thoroughly first. Mine took in water first day of the season. Store replaced it on warranty with a Vortex. They'd stopped selling Vomz, for good reason perhaps. Too bad, it was a really nice scope otherwise.
