Danny's pitching highlights 10u
มุมมอง 17114 วันที่ผ่านมา
This is Danny first season in 10u and his first time pitching. He was in 8u previously and there was no pitching by kid so this is a new challenge he is facing. He did great and for his first season he was able to strike out more than 10 kids. They only allow each pitcher to pitch only 2 innings but he was able to accomplish so much.

Take mine with a grain of salt as I’m not that old, but not a kid. My take is his swing is pretty good especially at his age, but I’d say his stride may need to be a bit more consistent and he needs to be more balanced after contact, as you can see him fall backwards sometimes. And make sure he doesn’t leak his back leg forward, if you watch closely, his back knee go forward before foot strike, this means he’s rotating before being grounded, it’s like trying to throw or swing while in air, don’t have as much power. I also think that he should crouch down a little or at least when striding because that’s a more athletic stance. And when at foot strike, his body should be half from the back foot and half from the front foot as you don’t want to be lunging or be too far back because you’ll just fall backwards. But, I don’t think you should talk about all of these to him, he’s still young, so have him enjoy the game, don’t make it like a job so it’s not enjoyable, and the only thing that really matters at his level is timing. The biggest one that you could talk about is just being consistent with his stride or being balanced. Those are just my thoughts and I’m betting I’ll get corrected. Also, if you really want to have his swing corrected, ask his coach or pay for private hitting lessons, but again, at his level, timing matters most.
Hello. Thank you for the advise. I appreciate the time you took to be specific. I am the one who trained him but I feel I reach a point that I gotta either ask for help or get someone to help him go to the next level. Me training him has been a hassle since am dad and he feels he can goof off and me with no patient what so ever can’t take him to the next level. But yea am going to let him enjoy it but he is getting close to playing 12u and high school so yea. Thanks for the advise I will continue to use advise to help him move forward. To be honest coaches here aren’t that good so am going to have to find some private lessons with someone privately at some point. Hope you subscribe and stick around to watch them grow in this awesome sports God bless thanks
I would try to work on power, try to develop a good 2 strike hitting approach bc as kids get older pitchers can throw some nasty pitches with 2 strikes, and also work on consistency bc sometimes he has some inconsistency between every pitch and that will help him to consistently get the sweet spot of that bat and make it easier to hit different pitch locations.😊
Hello Yes I notice as well the inconsistency between pitches. Am going to try that 2 strike approach. Thanks for the advice🙏
Idk maybe work on balance and having more power from the lower half
Maybe just have him have a wider stance
Hello thank you for the advise. He says that when he puts a wider stance when he brings his leg back to generate more power he still makes contact but on a more later swing causing the ball to go towards second base to first. Maybe have him use a 29 drop 11 instead of 29-10 maybe that recompense the for the 1 second delay with a wider stance? What do you think?
Don’t change greatness
Thank you I appreciate it 👍
I do that every day 😂I get away with it
So funny 😂
😂
The ump called foul
Hello No it was a fair ball. He called him out once he was tagged. Some people thought it was fair some others did not. At least there was no fighting over it lol
He is safe
Is that the pencil bat!!
@@DominicGoicoechea hello No thats just a Easton quantum T ball bat. On some of my other shorts a kid has the victus vibe which is pretty much the same as the pencil bat. The victus brand are very good bats. Am guessing you are a fan of the Victus pencil bat ?
@ yes one my favorite bats
Keep it up man. You'll be in sync in no time. You did a lot better than 99% of people 👊🏽
Hello Thank you for the comment man. Means a-lot. Hope you had a good thanksgiving And hope you have a great weekend
Good hustle Sebas 🤟🏻
Buja boy.123 teach him how it's done
Hello Thank you i appreciate the comment. Thank you Hope you have a great week 🙏
I can do 2-4 sets of this as 13 year old
Hello Thats good men if you keep it up you can do 10 sets of these everyday in a row with 1 minute rest in between. Keep pushing your self and you will reach a new level one many people never reach. Hope you have a great day Thanks for the comment
holy shit thats crazy
Hello Why do you think thats crazy? Yes it’s hard but you could do it with practice. Couple weeks push ups you can build enough strength to do it.
@TheBaseRunningBros nah I man I can't even do a single pushup
Hey man you should start doing 1 push ups every 1 hours. For 10 hours a day. Even if you cant do 1 you can try every hour 1 time and i guarantee you by 1 week you will be able to do 2 push ups and if you do it fir 4 weeks you will end up being able to do in a row between 5-10. You should give it a try. It will help you and it also a confidence booster
@@TheBaseRunningBros thanks a lot dude! you're great
No problem i got you 👍👍👍👍👍
Now do each toe on each foot
Hello Yes you are right. I was trying to keep up with the speed but neglected my toes 😞 Also am not that flexible lol. Have you tried the challenge? Do you think it’s a good workout to implement to your daily routine? Thanks for the comment
Remember than when you squat you're supposed to have the whole feet touching the ground. Good rep tho
Hello Yes thanks for the advice. To be honest i was tired after that because i tried 3 times and my son kept walking true my video 😂 so i was already like exhausted but your right i did not notice that. Do you work out? Are you a squat fan? To be honest i do other exercises and avoid squats 😂 i do the machines better. For legs. I know they cant replace a good squat but its more easier on my knees 😂
@TheBaseRunningBros yeah I do workout and I am indeed a squat fan lmao
Hey Cool do you have your own set up at home or you go to a local gym ? My job has a gym so its been a benefit i get to save money lol 😂
Looks like a herniated disc to me
Hello. I think this push up challenge has a-lot of benefits plus it shows someone how healthy you are and what you should work on. Articles has come out regarding push ups and it shows on extensive research that a person who can do 20 push ups in a row are considered healthy. So by doing this challenge you can do a self evaluation and see how far you can get plus its fun and a body that stays active lives longer. Herniated disk well maybe if you don’t stretch or start slow and over do it then yea. But you are working your own body weight so its not like you are lifting something outside your own body wright Do you work out? Do you do push ups a couple days a week?
You forgot to touch your toes, but that was fantastic
Hello Yes i notice i did not touch my toes. To be honest i tried it again and i notice i have to stretch more in my regular work outs. Sometimes i focus to much on growing muscles that i neglect sometimes the stretching part that is also important. Do you work out or have you tried the push up challenge? Thanks for the comment
Dude absolutely KILLED IT, speed isnt the immediate requirement, the fact that you kept up with that (notably difficult) exercise should be impressive enough. Plus the fact you were aiming for the speed needed shows that you have that goal in mind to keep pushing for. Hella inspiring man
Hello Thank you so much I appreciate it. You made my morning. I appreciate the fact that you can see more farther that what meets the eye. Have you tried the pushup challenge? Do you work out or stay active?
A lot of fatigue to not a lot of stimulus...
Hello You think so? I think it works out a-lot of group muscles like triceps, stomach, chest, core, leg thighs and some other smaller neglected muscles groups. Why do you think it’s more fatigued than stimulus.
Great 9 more and u set for the day
Hello. Yes great advice. I work out like 3 times a week but am gonna do this 5 times a week on top of my regular work out. Do you do 10 sets of these a day? If you do how are you feeling about it and how long have you been ad it?
@TheBaseRunningBros I haven't been doing this exercise all that much many because I'm focusing on my legs but this is a great workout and since you are just starting of I would say that you should do it everyday just so you can atleast build up your stamina for the exercise. It will be hard but after a week you should be able to do 5 of these a day.
Hello Thanks for the advise. All get started on that and see how it goes. Thanks 🙏
Oh hell no thats 1 rep thats my whole workout
Hello. To be honest i though it was going ti be tough but it wasn’t that bad. I gotta be honest this showed me i need to work out more. You can do it too. Start everyday with 5 push ups and slowly you start adding 5 until you reach 15. Once you reach 15 you should be able to do the push up challenge. You got this.
Yoy didn't try you did fantastic! Very proud my friend. Never stop. You've got this.. This is your life.
Hello Thank you so much. I appreciate this so much. You have made my morning. Thanks Hope you have a great day God bless
Excellent! 10 push-ups and you get the stomach while that's going on as well. If you can do that 6-9 times a day (three times each round), 5 days a week two days off. In 90 days you're going to see a big difference.
Hello Thank you for the advice. This definitely work out a-lot of group muscles so you are right. Am going to implement this into my daily work out for a couple months to see how it benefits. Thanks friend. You should also give that a try we can both do it together and in 3 months see how things have change😱
T^T
very impressive! :o

That team with that umpire are unbeatable 😂😂😂😂😂 Umpire is part of the hurricane team lol
Hello. Well that umpire called the plays as he saw them. Umpire has no connections to the hurricanes. In 10u pitching is the most difficult thing to do. Theres alot of BB in a 10u game base on the pitching errors. We did do extra practices and only pitching practices so that helped us. We think the game was 90% accurate when it came to pitching calling by the umpire. It was a good game and hopefully we see each other again next season.
I subbed
Hello Thanks we appreciate it. Hope you have a great day and thanks for the support. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Kids forms are so bad lol, hey, not hate, yall had fun and thats all that matters! Much respect!

Hello @ShakityT-v5e Hey bud thats great. My son can barely do 3 push ups but can hit a homerun at the park. I find it funny how he can do that but cant do push ups. He is 4’9 as a 9 year old. Keep up with your workouts thats good time 11 seconds 💪
Hello @A11_OFFICIALMADDEN I gotta agree with you there. In 5 grade i was already 5’4 back in 2006. Now when i drive by to pick up my son all i see if short kids. Back in my day we were all over 5 feet tall. Danny my son is the tallest kid in class but still not 5 feet yet only 4’ 9”…😱😯
