Since I'm a piano man my daughter says she grew up loving piano and she loves how Yellow starts out with piano. Paul McCartney said his dad was in a band, why he grew up loving piano, too. My dad played piano, I luckily have the piano his father bought in 1920 when my dad was age 5. Just spent 24/7 giving morphine to him for his pain, he pass age 98.

What makes this song so awesome is how unpredictable it was and how abruptly appeared on the scene, the atmosphere, the sadness and the feeling that "something new is coming" is all at the same time on it, and just like the woman on this scene wanted to be remembered... It is almost like the movie itself is asking us to remember it.

Fallen angels is a weird movie. There is no real story to it but it’s an ice cool movie, has some really cool quirky David lynch esque characters and the movie speaks to me and I can relate to it. I never get tired of watching it.

Estas si eran películas de amor en donde brillaba el misterio, dejaban la intimidad para la imaginación del público y no como ahora que en la mayoría de las películas que se hacen llamar románticas tienen más escenas de sexo explícitas que otra cosa, dando más valor al cuerpo que al mismo sentimiento del amor. Y además de esto, estoy segura de que a esas películas les quitas las escenas sexuales explícitas y no tienen ningún contenido que vender, en cambios estas si... no necesitaban atraer público a través de una escena explícita. Y ojo... no estoy diciendo que el sexo es malo... por supuesto que no, solo digo que antes se expresaba de mejor manera el verdadero significado del amor. Ahora la gente lo confunde con que: Si solo me desea sexualmente o me hace tal cosa en la cama es porque me ama.... aquí el amor se ve expresado en miles de formas. Hemos llegado a estar en una sociedad en donde el amor se ha reducido solamente a lo genital. Cuando en realidad, es mucho maś que eso. En fin, siempre amaré esta película.

I luv luv luv this song so much. I dedicated it to my late son, who I lost to cancer about 15 years ago. He was approaching his 13th birthday. Yellow was his favorite color, and I used to tell him he was my Yellow, bc he brought so much joy and love to me in my life. Losing him was one of the worst days in my life, but I imagine he sings the verses to me and I sing the chorus to him. “You’re skin and bones” bc he lost so much weight, “Turning into,something beautiful, do you know for you I’d bleed myself dry” I sing to him, bc he will always be beautiful to me. “ Look at the stars ✨, look how they shine for you” is him speaking directly to my heart. God, I miss him terribly...... I love you son, you’ll always be my Beautiful Yellow.....💛💛💛💛💛
