Long Island University is a four-year private university located in Long Island, New York, famous for its nursing colleges, medicine colleges, and the arts. Long Island University is made up of two campuses: Brooklyn and Post Campus, which are located 40 minutes' drive from New York's JFK Airport and two hours' drive from New Jersey's EWR Airport. It is also a half-hour drive to Manhattan, so it is very close to the big cities in New York, such as Broadway and Times Square. It has partnered with several companies in New York to offer internships in central New York, including Manhattan and Brooklyn. It is also a private university that offers international students more than 50 percent scholarships if they perform well, unlike other universities that rarely give scholarships to international students. There are also global campuses located in Europe, Australia, and Costa Rica, giving students the opportunity to study on campuses around the world upon application. The deadline for applications is Nov. 15 for Early Decision, Dec. 15 for Early Action, and Jan. 5 for Regular Decision.
