Yes, I really like it as well - it brings to mind the early MacBooks with their elegant unibody aluminum builds. However, my favorite silver combo remains the current MacBook Pro lineup, with its striking black keyboard and black Apple logo creating a stunning contrast. Have a look on my channel for more!

The chassis looks and feels the same, though the back of the phone feels a bit more slippery. It could just be because it’s new and needs some time to break in, like my previous one.

If you have issues with that, go for silver one. It’s more resistant for things like that.

it’s always some extra change ;) my first unibody MacBook was silver ( as on this time that’s was only one colour available ) but later i was going for space grey , and since new MacBook Pros i just came back to silver as i like this clean look and also when you scratch it it’s less visible, but both colours are great, just preferences.

Yes I agree, silver is best colour on any of Apple MacBooks as it’s more „scratch” resistant as it’s less noticeable if it’s scratched, also it’s more classy and oldschool look. Also it’s worth to consider higher storage and ram, as usually base configuration are just to tell everyone we are selling MacBook for 999 , but to be real not many users are ok with this basic configurations,it was same thing with iPhones and their storages, up to 14 when finally get 128gb as a base storage.

My 5+ year old space grey 13inch doesn't have any scratches or discoloration. It depends on the owner's habits. If you keep it at home/office or travel with a protection sleeve you won't have any issues. If you don't fit that category then probably safer to go with silver,

Yes , i like clean look of it and also in case you scratch it it's less visible as it's not showing colour from the under-layer coating.

Indeed, quite surprisingly, they remain fresh for a while, but unfortunately over the time, they might begin to turn slightly yellowish.

Yes, I also like silver ( currently in use as my daily ) it’s clean and bring old classics look of MacBooks, only one thing I hope will happen on m3 airs, if they make Apple logo on the top in black colour like it is currently on MacBook Pro, I like this contrast between silver and black.

Thanks, nowadays AirPods 2 are on really good price and deals and to be honest I think its best model for me to fit my ears. Sound quality is not so god like on pro or 3rd generation, but if you can sacrifice quality of sound a little bit AirPods 2 are still good choice in my opinion.

It’s always up to your preference, but from practice side best one is silver stainless steel as it have most choices of straps, my personal favourite is link bracelet, very comfortable and great looking strap.

Yes it’s a great colour choice, I was waiting for mat finish on pro models since Apple introduced iPhone 4, for me still one of the best designs of iPhones so far !

Hi, do you mean brown leather band? is from previous generations, unfortunately Apple is not selling them anymore, it’s called „classic buckle” strap, you can try to find it on eBay second hand.

Yes, look so clean , especially with this black logo on the back contrasting to the keyboard on the front, unfortunately they haven't done same on MacBook Air :(

Agree, I love it, especially with my link bracelet strap it’s very comfortable and well made.

My first MacBook was silver , then after that all of macs what i got it was in space grey, but on this generation i just came back to silver as I like this contrast on keyboard and black logo. But space grey looks good also. Just depends on the taste, or maybe i just get bored of the space grey colour :)

Silver looks like it had very bad quality aluminum. It feels a bit off when you touch it. Space gray has no such issues. Plus it looks almost white in direct sunlight while space gray looks silver in direct sunlight.

I disagree. Space Gray still looks the best, even better than the new Space Black IMO. However, when I purchased an M2 Pro MBP I took Silver, as Space Gray has a habit of fading on the palm rests which looks horrible after long term use. This doesn't happen to everybody but I've experienced it and it's common enough that I now avoid it. I really wish I didn't have to because it's probably the nicest looking finish of any laptop of all time.

It’s always up to personal preferences, but i would choose silver, as MacBook Air M2 have same design as Pro just slimmer. I like transition between silver and black accents on silver model, on space grey transitions between keyboard and apple logo are more subtle ( more like gradient transition between colours ) so its just up to you really what you prefer

@@biggestchinenfan I never have issues with discolouring when have space grey MacBooks, but it maybe it is a issue. If you worry about things like that, definitely silver is a better option, as in case you scratch it, it will be less noticeable as on scratch you will still have original colour of aluminium.
