I'm specifically interested in trading my ETF strategy with a broker that supports percent-of-equity, and toggling in and out of reciprocal long and short tech LETFs (SOXL/SOXS, TQQQ/SQQQ, TECL/TECS, for example).

Don't agree with this. You need to care about both, commissions and slippage, while usually commissions have a bigger impact than slippage (but it depends what you trade ofc).

Congrats to the profit you've made, that is respectable. You don't need to trade mate, keep it safe and don't mess around if that works well for you. The reason I "automate" is because I like to protect my purchasing power - don't like my portfolio to tank 80% or so when BTC decides to go into a bear market. If I could, I would buy and sell only once per bull market. But it's not that simple sadly. Especially not on Altcoins. Anyhow, you do what works for you. Don't take risks if HODLING works well for you. It's not mathematically good to do so, but it can still make sense for you if you feel safe this way. Hope it helps.

Yes, simply use it on more coins with the same parameters. Then draw your conclusions. Trend Following Strategies are trading less by design, so you have to apply them on more coins to truly test them.

Thanks! I simply share my knowledge. You don't need to buy anything, just listen and learn. If you want to automate cool, if not also cool :) I just think automation would work best for most people who have no time trading.

Signum at this point in time gets you flat when your strategy goes short. Once Signum supports short instead of getting you flat it will short for you. On the long long side Signum can follow the strategy exactly.

​@@stianlystad2028 Yes exactly. SIGNUM would ignore all short trades and not do anything. You'd see what it does at all times in the Logs so you know what is happening. In other words, at this point in time SIGNUM does this: Your strategy goes long: Signum goes long Your strategy increases the long: Signum increases the long Your strategy goes flat (sells everything): Signum get's you flat as well Your strategy flips from long to short: Signum will get you flat Your strategy goes short: Signum will skip the trade and do nothing Your strategy increases the short: Signum will skip the trade and do nothing Your strategy flips from short to long: Signum gets you long (depending if you use % or absolute order size it get's you long exactly the same about as your strategy did) Hope it helps?

There is no quick and easy way to make money. Even with a good strategy it’s work. Mental work at least. This strategy I show here is free. No promises. Do your own research if it’s good for you or not. It shall help you get started. But the journey is long :) You must add your one value to the process. Nobody will “just make you rich”.
