I got a horse that is fine when we leave the house and will ride fine and when we come to water he freaks out and wants to come home he won't stop and will walk sideways all the way home if I get him to stop he keeps backing up and rearing up and just wants to run all the way home any help on what I can do

There’s definitely a lot to this predicament, I would start with a disengaging of the hindquarters exercise, just so that you can regain control of the horse and his mind. Let me know if you’d like me to direct you to a disengaging of the high quarters video.

Demonstrate how to move a horse forward. On the ground and in saddle. Seems simple but many times a horse just wants to pull back or walk slow. Need to know how to move them forward for trailer loading ..example

Can you come to CA? Lol. I have an OTTB and everything you said not to do is exactly what I was taught to do so she accelerates too quickly for me and then she gets scared and starts running blindly. We moved barns and switched trainers. We’re going to completely restart, can’t wait to get to the level of steadiness like I watched in your video. I laughed when you said let there be some sunshine, the trainer we had said to keep my feet on like a hug and pull back on the reins when she speeds up too much…. Lol 🥺

I've had my horse for about 2 weeks. I was feeding him some grain and sarcastically said If you pick up your bowl and hand it to me I will give you more. Well... He picked it up and handed it to me LOL! I was shocked and my husband was laughing.
