Minor correction, you also get discarded energy when pokemon retreat. So the Pokémon don’t have to die to use Volkner

I think people need to chill. The reason it costs like it does to trade, is likely for 2 reasons. 1. To prevent bots from taking an unfair advantage against real/non cheating players. 2. To make money. It’s not like we know what they will give us for the events. And let’s be honest, they allow for trades so you can basically get one of each pretty easily. Makes sense they would make it more difficult for the cool/desired prints.

Starmie really shouldn't be behind Executor AT ALL. 3 retreat cost when you only need 1 energy to attack is ATROCIOUS. Not to mention both need atleast 2 turns to do insane damage. I'd gladly give another energy if it means I'm guaranteed to do a whooping 90 damage. Executor's damage is so inconsistent. The only edge I see Executor having is that he has 30hp more than Starmie (If I'm correct, but I'm fairly sure he has 160hp. Correct me if I'm wrong though.) but even then, to me it doesn't make much of a difference. 100% I think Starmie is so much better, it ain't even close to me.

charizard def not a god tier. idk why so many of yall were defending him. he has bare use outside of a moltres + charizard deck. although you can argue a mewtwo card is similar because it gets bare use outside of a gardevoir deck, at the end of the day, that deck is simply much more effective and has a in general much higher win rate competitevly than charizard. charizard just fills a mid ass niche unfortunately. although the card had much potential. maybe when the game FIRST came out it was good. but over time so many decks just overpower it, take out moltres early, and charizard only gets off ONE fully powered attack per game. which means theres like 4 turns of opportunity for any other card to finish it off.

starmie articuno with greninja or vaporeon? all lists i see is with greninja but i got absolutely stomped by a starmie vaporeon one game

I had fun watching, nice list. I personally think Golem is at least top of Tier 3 because it has a lot of options outside of Golem. You run Marshadow to revenge kill or damage 100 to an EX monster and you run Hitmonlee for magikarp clears or getting other mons into range for a Golem. And lastly, there’s no EX mons so you generally get an extra life since your opponent needs 3 kills. I’ve gone on a big winstreak with Golem.
