This is superb! What inspired using only 2 oboes and 2 horns for winds/brass? Amazing how great it sounds with such little forces.
Thanks! This is a common setup I saw in the mid/later 1700s. I basically copied the setup from Mozart 29 :) Hope summer is treating you restfully!
So fire my speakers blew up🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Gotta drum up that business for BestBuy somehow
Спасибо, моя душа откликается на силу, гармонию и мелодичность
I've been listening to this EP on loop for the last few days. Thank you for sharing it with us! I'm especially fond of All The Things You Are & Alleyway Mystery. Keep up the great work!

This is fantastic!
Thank you so much!
Очень красиво
Спасибо за ваш добрый комментарий
Amazing!
Thank you! Very glad to hear.
Very nice! The implied polyphony is quite reminiscent of Bach's compositional style for solo instruments
Reminds me of his violin sonatas, I would love to write a piano transcription one day when I learn a thing or two on harmony and counterpoint (And if you dont sue me lol)
Very cool, it's certainly a unique sound and I love it! It reminds me quite a bit of the Klazz brothers for their interpretations of classical pieces "jazzed up", but they have latin percussion rather than going the swing band route...
Thank you! I have not heard of the Klazz brothers but I'll look them up, it sounds really interesting.
0:56 blud snuck in some Paganini?😂
🤫
“Alla” is “ à la “ , idk why you’d spell it that way
Alla to my knowledge is a different way of spelling à la, in Italian they sometimes combine A and La into that. Rondo Alla Turca is an example. But à la would work as well!
Great explanation! Thanks for the clarification. @@NichtWunderkind
Doesn't always sound like Bach, but nevetheless, amazing composition! Keep composing!
Thank you!
Aw man that's nice
Had great teaching help!
@@michaelpogudincomposition definitely man
i played it 👍
Hope it went great!
simply gorgeous. I get a Barber vibe (his essays).
Thank you very much!
Soo... it's black orpheus
Yup, Manhã de Carnaval and Black Orpheus are two names for the same tune!
@@michaelpogudincomposition There is even a third title of this tune: A Day In The Life Of A Fool (which is the title used on a Sinatra recording of it).
Just looked this up! Really great recording.@@DavidBennettThomas
