Great review, thanks! 👍 These are excellent watches for the price. Only for the large handed, but they are durable and you can swim with them. Inside the case there is a Seiko-Epson AL35E quartz movement, with two batteries: the upper CR2025 is for the digital part and for the lights, the lower SR626SW is for the analog part. Once a year its worth to clean the surface below the two bent spacer where the case and the strap meets. The six-head screws are just decorations, they are simple push pins, so its not hard to disassemble. The weakpoint is the strap: its comfortable and long, but in the long run the watch will survive the strap. I like these Smaels, I will buy another one for the next summer.

I like SMAEL watches... They have a long strap... They are lightweight... Many watch collectors wrongfully gauge the quality of a watch according to it's weight... Myself, I prefer a lightweight watch verses a heavyweight watch... SMAEL watches are underated in my opinion... I would like to see SMAEL come out with an automatic model in the future...

I have this watch. Not good at all.

Received mine 2 weeks ago, it seems to have a quite resistent coating (not simply cheap matte paint). Then no problem with shiny finish at all. Naviforce have an incredible quality/price ratio, even as "throw away" watches. Too bad they have SL28 Chinese quartz and not an Epson/Miyota like others. People should learn to find real images, plenty of them on YT. For € 4,00 (the price i paid) you can't complain, at all.

The "engineer" style metal bands are awesomely great for that price. Long enough, has three holes for micro adjusts and all in all those are just fine. Inside the house its the standard chinese SL28 movement, this time with weekdays, a copy of the Miyota 2115. But its still better than the terrible Seiko TMI PC21. For me the case has three parts: the rotatable bezel and the caseback are made of stainless steel, but the middle part of the case is just simple alloy. Its possible it was stainless steel first, but later they changed it in the production. The four decoration screws are sadly not fully water resistant: if you swim with the watch often, the screws will get rust in ~1-1.5 years. Thanks for the review Jopo! 👍

Thanks for the review 👍 I like Skmei, its a brand with an excellent price and value, and I have several Skmei watches now. ❤ In some cases I would say its better than a Casio 😁 But this model was problematic for me, quality issues. I hope others will have a better luck 🙂 An alternative is the Sanda 3167.

I would rather have a zinc alloy case watch without sharp edges than a stainless steel case watch with sharp edges...

Bought a few of this type. Looks fine in the promotional shots in a satin finish but looks cheap when it arrives and it's all shiny! Bought a Megir recently and the same happened!
