Was a Favorite Restaurant Ran By The Mafia?
What i've read so far is that horse feathers belong to a recesive gen, which means that once they crossed ( shires, clydesdale, gypsies etc) the offspring Will loss the feathers
Do they get turn out everyday?
I wish I had that when I trained for Gay 90'S.
It makes for excellent trainings.
Beautiful!
He's a pretty one, mules are great. Do your mules get a retirement home after their career is over?
Yes. Once retired our mules are adopted. We keep track of them throughout the remainder of their lives. They retire at 20. Life expectancy is 40ish but some live until their early 50’s.
I think the feathering is a ressisve trait in most breeds
I dont think I've ever seen a Clydesdale mule. Love him!❤ He just really looks Clydesdale...i wouldnt think Shire. The Clydesdales have more bay in the lines than Shires...He's amazing! If you guys have your own mammoth jacks, i hope you're crossing them back.to some mammoth jennies or the mammoth donkey breed just might go extinct...😊
❤❤❤
Now that is beautiful
I'll take one or two please. They're all great looking animals. Neighbor has a few Mules, they're both HUGE!!! Thanks for sharing
Absolutely beautiful sweet soul ♥️✨🌤✨♥️
He is PRECIOUS. 😊😊😊❤
And he knows it too! An absolute treasure and a trouble maker. But that’s our boy Footloose.
So adorable 😍! I just looked up the pairing to get a mule and found out about a hybrid I didn't even know existed. It's called a "hinny", so thank you for the video. Or I would have never looked them up!
A hinny is the crossing of a female donkey and a mule horse. A rare hybrid but an interesting one nonetheless.
Anne Rice had a doll collection. I don't know if hers were haunted or possessed. But I think it was she who said that dolls are inherently creepy.
She’s so right
Is that a dude or a chick
Paul is a dude
Your a mule
Clydesdales are more likely to be more likely to be roan or bay. Shires can be any solid colour including grey.
Does the donkey stallion get a chair to stand on?
More like a booster ramp.
You can tell a lot about how an animal is trained by how ready they are to just hang out with a human.
We have a lot of mules that would sit on the sofa and watch tv with their human if they could. I’m convinced several would raid the fridge worse than teenage boys after football practice.
Cool!
Agree. There must be young people growing up and making music and other art as well as being creative in other ways.
The French Quarter has affordability issues. Plus hardly any children living there. I think on last census there were 3 kids. It will be interesting to see how the area adapts going and looking at 10-20 years from now.
The long hair on horses' legs is called feather or feathering, but not feathers. That's why "horsefeathers" is used to mean "nonsense".
Gross. these mules are ran in 100 degree weather and sometimes die in the streets from being overworked.
These mules are highly regulated on when they can work and where. We have never had a mule die in the streets. Mules will actually stop working if they are sick, injured, or tired. Try educating yourself on our regulations and care before making such outrageous statements for attention.
Beautiful mule.From South Africa.
Beautiful!!!!❤❤❤❤
Beautiful mule .
Jumbo Jacks were crossed on thoroughbreds to get racing mules, crossed on the quarter horse for mules that could do ranch work & compete in cutting, reining, working cow & more qh disciplines. Bred horses like Friesian, Cleveland Bay & other carriage horse to do the same. My grandfather knew a guy that had a couple of Jumbo Jacks for mule breeding. He also did ponys
Also, in the very rare event that a Hinney could reproduce, she could be bred back to the breed of horse she was & would birth a horse. Same with a Jumbo Jack to get a donkey
He really is a Pretty Boy 😍
And he knows it too
I am trying to imagine a male donkey playing hide-the-sausage with a Clydesdale mare, or is it done by artificial insemination ? ?
Can you show the donkeys you breed the horses with?
We don’t breed mules. Just buy them at auctions.
@@neworleanscarriages I assume they must be big donkeys?
Show us the Clyde mule! 💕
We have several videos with him on our TikTok page. @Neworleanscarriages
Which Mules are best for riding
Mammoth jack bred to quarter horse mare. Mammoth jack bred to Peruvian paso fino mare. Fox trotter mare. Tennessee walker mare. All great choices. From gaited animals to cow sensible workers❤
When I was a kid, my grandpa had meals. But they were small mules. Not drafts. he used them for hunting. I have no idea what their breed was.
Draft mules.
I am 66 and want one
Sir you must abuse your mules ever day all day for them to be so deathly afraid of you! Why they seemed to be so fearful they were going to fall asleep right in your arms. You have my total respect because mules are fussier about who they trust and love than horses are and your mules love you to bits. They are beauties.
So much pleasure seeing the affection and interaction with the mules. I hope more videos on what mules need including socialization and contact with humans, and even mule rescue. I have heard mules need a very different saddle than a horse.
HE SURE KNOWS HIS MULES AND DONKEYS...😊
Mules are cool. 😉
Also Clydes are much more common in North America than Shires are! Gotta love mules...my molly was an all black Appaloosa. You could feel the spots on her rump and see them in the sunlight.
Do you have any hennies or do y’all just breed mules?
No Hinnies. We buy our mules from auction.
@@neworleanscarriages oh ok, awesome!
Oh Yes I Like Mules. 🟥🟨🟩
I guess it's about different crossings, not breeds.
If we worked half as hard as them mules do; this world would be a lot better off!
Just love how they lean into you!
I have to wonder how a small donkey breeds with a huge draft horse.
The mammoth Jack is used with draft and larger horses. A bit smaller than the female.
It speaks very well to his relationship and treatment of them that they are so relaxed, calm, and happy around him and loving his attention. Love to see it.
Those two are real cuddlebugs, aren’t they? And you can tell that he really loves his mules!💕
They truly are
He’s a looker!
It's not the horse that settled America . It was the Mules. They won't work or drink or eat themselves to death. Plus, you can do so much more with them than a horse for the most part
They are the perfect partner.
