man idk i just love nyra and i want people to understand how fucked up it was for her too :/
imagine being a teenager and loosing your only friend right after your mother died. you left alone and the closest person you have is your uncle trying to take advantage of you. you literally have no one. no children, no friends, no family cause even your father is absent just as he was before
and imagine having your friend again and she tried to aggressively to know whether it's true that your groomer had an intercourse with you last night
and then she antagonize you for the next 10 years and thinks that you're ready to kill her children cause of illusions that have been put in her head by her father and that one lie.... like yikes
it's a simplification but still

You know aemond was the one who was attacked and when he decided to defend him self they decided to cut his eye out and say it was self defense . They bullied him told him they got him a dragon and then they gave him a pig and when they went before Vesris all she gets is an apology. You expect her to be ok whit it .She swore on her mother's daemon never touched her. Alicent defended her many times . At the council against her father and agaist criston when he insulted rhaenyra .Alicent was just following the orders of her father . If you watch the series again you will notice that she wasn't happy when Vesris announced thire marriage . Of you want to blame alicent for not raising her children properly then blame Vesris too he is thire father. I believe that rhaenyra is the true heir though and alicent misunderstood Vesris,s last message. He was talking about ageon uniting the kingdom. If she did know the message why will she try to defend rhaenyra against the council. She will just crown him and not care. It's Vesris,s fault her son died if he had punished those bastards for cutting out aemond,s eye Luke wouldn't be dead. He wasn't just .So yes alicent may not be perfect bu at least she wasn't a liar whit bastards

I find it frustrating how makers didn't turn her into a powerful character from a victim but at the same time it is actually realistic. Being a woman in a misogynist society even if she had became a queen it doesn't always mean that she would gain power specially when she was brought up with the believe that being a woman she is just there to be used by men in her life and it is her duty . So exact point is that she could have gained power but didn't because of the entire brain wash during her upbringing . it was clear while she talked to rhaenys , she believed it is her role to be only a ladder and support for men in her life .

Cahir is so underrated. He's probably my favorite character. I feel so bad for him and seeing him imprisoned, tortured and lonely in a cell is so depressing but he's so interesting and has an excellent great character development to him so far. Great, mysterious and a captivating captain leader. I'm worried for him though in season 3 considering how season 2 ended on a dark note for him. Cool edit btw beautiful song and tribute to two amazing people. The Witcher is an incredible fantasy series both in game and tv show form. Very magical. I'm insanely impressed by the content they produced. Netflix is doing God's work. The cinematography is so good and inspiring in this series. Yennefer is portrayed perfectly too. I'm getting anxiety how season 3 might start don't think I can take much more Cahir trauma. He deserves a happy storyline! Only a month to go to season 3. Can't wait.
While Netflix Cahir is interesting in his own right, this version pales in comparison to the goated book version where he is basically Jamie Lannister if he were an emo teenager. Easily my favorite character in the Witcher franchise.
@@justlivin2499 Cahir is so much cooler and more interesting than Jaime. And GOT isn't really comparable to Witcher. So far I'm way more invested in the legendary fantasy series that is The Witcher than back stabbing double crossing betrayal fest that was GOT. Everything is done for shock factor and GOT is just a LOTR pretender anyways. Jaime is corrupted and has done so many questionable things that no one can't put their faith in him. In fact I think all of the Lannisters are completely evil and cruel-hearted. GOT feels more like Harry Potter with all the family drama than LOTR. Not to mention how the show ends on a sour note and the writing team had no clue what they were doing. Cahir is a pure good honorable hero while Jaime is an anti-villain same can be said about Tyrion and Cersei, Joffrey and Tywin are all pure evil. When Jaime was a cocky prick in the first three seasons he was cool though. Cahir is way different from him he's his own person and an epic character while Jaime is just an incestuous snake who loves his sister more than his life. Cahir > Jaime all day. Better swordsman, person and a leader too. If Jaime hadn't been so inconsistent I might have liked him.
