I am about to turn on revenge attacks on my season 2 save cos Annie wants to know if my base will work. (That's what she says anyway hahahaha) I haven't had revenge on for two years I think. LOL I used to have it on but it's a bother to fix things all the time.

Locked crate was not really one of the best ones. But early game, all is good I guess lol.

Hey Matthew, those wolves have learnt all their ninja skills from the bears. You almost got caught in that rock crevice. Most of the time they get caught, but not this time. At 18.33 locked crate on the next rock over, though I think you saw it. I haven't seen it on that rock before. This side of it on the ground yes. I'm glad you didn't try to jump on your platform with the bear that close at the end. He would have followed you onto it for sure.

I don't use that method in my gameplay. I don't believe that it's cheating but i don't want to ruin the RNG factor. In other games that RNG factor can change the hole gameplay so in some cases i will also gonna use it. But not in Subsistence. This trick will not ruin my game experience if i do it but also it will not if i don't. It's a personal choice. Enjoy the game!

Loved the chance to look around that base. The pilots really couldn't work out how to get to the guy shooting at them! Not very good for my vertigo though watching you shoot them from there - especially the parts with no railings lol.

You are very good at catching rabbits. And your health and food bars are looking good. It's the nails that are the issue. I see it on Arp's videos, nails are hard to get.

I will never understand how you and Arp and others who play hardcore can make it look so easy on video. When in reality it's hardcore 😂

Hey Matthew, I thought the wolf might have stayed on you. I was pointing at the big rock (13:26)to go around, bear or no bear. A good chance to lose them both around it. A tough start. Veg and nails in short supply. I reckon even put 2 or 3 traps out too. A day gathering kelp might also be worth it (off camera of course lol).

Hey Matthew, hopefully veg isn't low in your playthrough. Can't spend every day in the lake lol. The fishing rod going in the lake reminded me of the time I threw a generator in. Some nice fish at the end helped a lot. Maybe the fishing rod needed a clean.
