Description: Bukowski here talks of contrasting emotions and the tender emotions which must be kept hidden deep within one's breast for he fears that would damage one's reputation that one is emotionally powerful. This is however only a facade. Late in the night when he is alone, he lets the bluebird (his tender side-the bluebird is a personification) out and then puts it back in again.

Just for you Ask not who, for it’s of her A lover, a mother, sister or daughter Ask not where, for it’s everywhere On the street, next door, at home Ask not when, for it has always been No before, no after Ask not what or how For it hurts too much to say And a thousand reasons why All inked in red The sun shines bright this morning The winter’s snow has gone And the sweet smell of springtime lilacs Strikes me without mercy And I am thrown about Swarmed with stories of you Lovers, sisters and daughters, angels and mothers You bring life, love and kindness You bear beauty, strength and understanding And patience and courage undeterred Ever you give You gave me your hand And I took it You gave me your heart And I broke it May I offer you mine in penance For it has learned to cry Watching the tears flow from your eyes Lost in a tunnel, looking for your light I haven’t your strength or courage But here, take from my hand This humble offering Of a tiny sprig of sweet lilac Newly born for you Just for you
The following passage is missing: "None the less he worked well, and the planter wondered. Deesa had wandered along the roads till he met a marriage procession of his own caste, and, drinking, dancing, and tippling, had drifted with it past all knowledge of the lapse of time" (Moti Guj,--Mutineer, Kipling R,).
Growing up, I remember that when something was really destroyed and twisted out of recognition, he would refer to it as a wreck of the Hesperus and I never understood what that meant. We would mispronounce it kind of saying wreck of the hespress, regular hespress or some mispronunciation. Then I saw the famous oil painting of the wreck of the hespers and understood what it was all about
It's been my favorite since a little Girl , meant more as I grew older . I always loved the beach and the sand as a kid . Footprints 👣👣👣👣 never lie

Great poem! The 2024 movie "After Her Smile" features the poem "Curfew" by Longfellow, bringing its themes to life in a moving narrative.
I dont't know if you guys are still active but this poem is not by Ella Wheeler Wilcox but rather from James Allen. It's from his book "A Man Thinketh". Ella Wheeler Wilcox also wrote a poem called Will, and it's great, but this is not it.

Greetings: Rudyard Kipling quote On Why, What, When, How, Who and Where one knows from Kindergarten days. Simon Sinek line " To start with Why" dosent qualify for new learning. "Why, What, How, Where, How and Who" Here goes the Greatest line On Why, What, When, How, Who and Where still looks great and fine Forms the foundation for Scientific Enquiry One can get most answers for queries Taught in Kindergarten Simon Sinek line Start with Why Doesn't even match to fries No new learning would be the reason While few are ready to place false accusations for no treason Wonderful Day
So lovely thank you 😢😮
I dedicate this special poem to Miracle Dani, Zidane❤🙏🫂

So beautiful.

Excellent narration. Far-better than neuralsurfer (and his piss-poor - pronunciation of his Worms).
I am a beginner with writing poems and will use this as a good exemplar. GOOD JOB! Please provide me your feedback --> th-cam.com/video/nniu6gf7Eik/w-d-xo.html

This made absolutely no sense. I love my dogs. When their time is done I will grieve forever because I love them. I will honor their will and adopt another. So the cycle continues.
Nice poem
Nice poem
Great 👍👍
Mom Mom was never stingy She gave her soul to love Her beauty was beyond compare her hands wore cotton gloves She didn't count the money when going out in stile From mother's lips there came a kiss that never could beguile She loved our dad like crazy and he was just the same They married in a whirlwind with a love that burned like flame Mom stayed home with babies when dad went off to build glad he had survived the war and earned the GI bill They filled his house with children one after the next then sent us off to Catholic school and the sisters did the rest Life is just what happens when your busy making plans Mom just hid herself away I've come to understand loving life for loves' own sake She gave us all she had but children are so hard to take and they drive their mothers mad It was her crucifixion When her chicks flew from the nest Children are so insensitive Now I understand I guess
So very true
Im also crazy 4 dogs . I wish i was vet. I wish could help all around the world, amy where, hot or cold....Mo

Can I use this audio for an animation short film
When I lost my beloved Samson at 13 years in August 2020, then Boo Boo at 15 years in December 2020, I came upon Kipling’s beautifully heartbreaking poem. The rainbow bridge poem was not doing it for me. Although we are cautioned against telling those in mourning that we know how they feel, Kipling knew how I felt in that devastating loss. Thank you for the lovely recitation.
Memorized it in high school. So fun to hear it again!
amazing
Great work
Nice
Very good.
A macho poem but tinged with shades of gentleness.
