I thought they were mostly nocturnal... this girl (I have a different video of squatting to pee) is trotting directly toward our chicken coop. We're greatly limiting the free ranging at this point!

    I choose reliable american made hardware over cheap soulless China crap, even if under the right conditions (before it ends up breaking) it is more efficient. I notice some yellow in the flame, doesn't that mean something needs a minor adjustment or a maintenance cleaning?

    How might that have gotten cracked? Is it a cold climate, could it have frozen?

    I"m not sure that's a bladder situation - that looks more like the water/pressure is leaking out of the system. The pressure is dropping like theres a valve open.

    Line could be plugged tank could be bad wellxtroll. Best tank to buy make sure it's not the line being plugged before replacement just putting air only last a couple of days IV done water pump and trouble shooting the last 20 years or so👍👌💯🍻💦

    I'm guessing the switch isn't hooked up and they wired the outlet up to complete the circuit.not sure how they managed that but they did

    HVAC tech found mouse-chewed wires to the reversing valve controller system. Sensors work to occasionally reverse and run a heat pump in COOL mode, which heats the outside coils like in summer operation, which melts the ice. That obviously hadn't happened in days here.

    Heat pump condenser icing is normal, but, not to the point where the fan hits the ice. If, ice buildup is uneven, most likely a refrigerant issue. The most common reason for excessive icing is the customer setting indoor temp too low. A heat pump, in defrost, relies on the indoor heat to defrost that outdoor coil. Many homeowners set their indoor thermostat to 60 or 65. Which is too low.

    My pressure switch is short cycling when it kicks on, but takes about 5 to 7 minutes to bleed down with a two second recharge to 50lbs. Does it sound like it may be a pin hole size puncture in the bladder?

    • @leesundin5375
      @leesundin5375 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You'd need a well contractor to verify the problem.

      @@leesundin5375 Bought a new tank, thing is working good. Added a union in the line for quicker fixes next time. Total cost for switch and tank approx. $290. Could have been worse. Thanks.

    • @josephsaucedo8691
      @josephsaucedo8691 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like it to me it could also be a bad check valve or small leak in the line as well I've done water well pump for a little over 20 years now👍👌✌️💯🍻💦 close everything let it go to o psi then check the tank it should have at least 30psi

  • @cyclestopvalves8380
    @cyclestopvalves8380 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Good explanation of the most common problem with well pumps. That looks like a 36 gallon size tank. If so, it only holds 8 gallons of water when the bladder is still good and it has the correct air charge. It is rare for the tank air to get out through the fill port schrader valve. Tanks lose air because the diaphragm breaks from cycling too much like bending a wire back and forth until it breaks. Cycling problems are solved by adding a simple Cycle Stop Valve. By adding a CSV you can make your pump last many times longer than normal. Plus, since the tank needs to be replaced, using a CSV means you only need a 4.5 gallon size tank, which is much less expensive and takes up almost no space.

    A question has been asked about thermal imaging camera usage to find such problems. Yes, I have found such moisture problems with my thermal camera, but when I viewed the inside of this wall, it looked completely normal. The reason was the use of plastic sheeting as a vapor barrier on the inside of the insulation behind the drywall. So the drywall was totally dry, thus no evaporation, thus no contrasting cooling pattern to be noticed. Thermal cameras can be a useful tool, but they are not as all-powerfully useful as one might think.
