the materials arent downloading
my liv surface is drawing under the mesh and i cannot see it only if 4 mode.

Hey Virtus, don't know if you remember me, I'm Oscar, I studied at - University when you were still a tutor there. I found your channel like 6 months ago, watching videos on and off. Good to see you still making stuff. I've been in a bit of a pit for the last few years since the pandemic curbedstomped the last year of university and I've trying to get back to a point where I feel like I have a portfolio. Haven't picked up a pen in over a year now, but using your content to see if I can motivate myself some more. Thank you for what you do. @@OdinnZF hey Oscar, great to hear someone getting back into game art! Many get into a pit. Thankfully there are so many ways out. The first step is finding others in similar positions. Come onto the Discord and say Hi. People get so much motivation from there. I can give you some guidance to get you back on the right path. :)

When using zspheres, I don't include head in it. Only the body, extremities and neck. Much easier to work with and I can later on add more dynamic looking head.
do you make the stitch holes manually ? And how you make the laces retopology? I just finished a character that has a long boot and the laces took a lot of polygons

If only it had a way of maya image planes method of setting up the references where you don't lose the shape and the reference when you zoom in, so the reference will zoom in as well

in the minute 15;11 another think you could do to make it a little straight without the need to zremesh it again, you could go on deformation and slide the polish by groups, also it helps if you crease the polygroups and maybe do a polish by crisp edges, if you have like 6 subdvidions and the last one its too hard to make it more straight or aligned you could also go to lower subds e do the same, it helps a lot, I hve to constantly do wraps in my workflow and will defnetly use some of the tips you gave in the video! Amazing content, just discoverd your channel!

Dynamesh destroys my mesh details even with resolution turned up...what do you think about merge boolean under the cogwheel of transpose master? I find it merges meshes without much artifects
Fantastic video! I have a question: Is it really okay to have that many triangles on a mesh? I often feel like using triangles like that but everyone says it will cause issues with deformations.
The decision around when to use tris versus quads depends on what the model will be used for. If the model it going to deform via animation or simulations its encouraged to use quads, but on a mesh that is going to be purposed for a static render or not intended to deform, triangles can be used to reduce the topology flow as there is no need for supporting loops. Triangles can cause shading issues when stretched or pinched.
That human anatomy figure is not needed there😂😂
It is insane that we have to have videos like this for basic navigation. No other software package as this kind of backwards, hostile user interface.
