@@Stillwiityou ahhh thank you so much :,) i miss kurt a lot too, this song just has that mood for me. theres a lot of ways you can start playing for cheap! id look into cheaper acoustic guitars, usually searching “student guitars for sale” online brings a decent amount of results :) again price can be a difficult area to cover but you can find a lot of secondhand guitars and use youtube tutorials online to start! i believe in you! <3

both are great instruments! id recommend starting with guitar over bass though since thats what i started off with but ultimately its up to personal preference and what kind of music youre looking to make! guitar will teach you chords and its the main thing i use for songwriting but bass has a multitude of uses as well :)

thank you! always glad to see you pop in and leave a thought :) i agree with the “time capsule” idea. a lot of what ive put out/have saved for the album is pretty heavy stuff emotionally (some of the feelings im still trying to get over), but it does feel like the more i work on it the longer i let the emotions linger in my head. although, the other part of me feels like if i get the album out and stop procrastinating the feelings and work that goes into it ill be able to let go of everything easier. kinda a double-edged sword i guess. ultimately, i wanna keep creating and making stuff im passionate about. i dont really have any plans on taking an extending break just yet, i still love making covers n doing other random mixes but general mood n other factors make doing anything feel pretty limiting. i still love it though, so im sure once im feeling a bit more sound ill probably be more inclined to make cool stuff; definitely have a few things planned once i stop being scared of a metronome (lol) anyways, thank you again sharing your thoughts and experiences, always a blessing to see you pop in with some advice or a word of love :-))
