Just tried this on yamaha pwx3. The moment you hold down for 5secs. It changes to auto, and you can't do anything. Would be better to do a video for each systems. The instructions are vague

I have buy mso 4.0 bosch smart system. Now i have take a fail and its not calibrate! And i dont come in the Menü to reset or new calibrate nothing, turn on the chip Show 18.9kmh tjan i go to turbo wait 5 sek. And push up down 10x nothing! 13x nothing

De-restricting should be as simple as possible and idiot proof. Plug and play preferably, this chip seems to require a lot of messing around and therfore has a high risk of messaging up the bike completely. On my older cube all that was required was simply attach a small box to the bike and away you go. I am of course referring to the Badass Box. Unfortunately this doesn't work with Smart System as I found out and ended up having to take my 2023 cube reaction race bike back to the store to be reset. Luckily it's not detectable once you take it off the bike so I didn't have any issues with warranty. This is a joke really I am hoping in the future these chips will get a lot easier in 2024 we should not really need to be taking off covers and changing wires. We should be at a stage with the Smart System where we just download a code or even an app where we de-restrict via an app. But all this taking covers off the bike pulling out wires is not really necessary in this day and age with the technology we have.

Undoing the crank hex bolt is very tight, it loosens a bit then tightens again, eventually it loosens off. the cable with the round fitting is for the tachometer (speed sensor) feeds through frame to rear. I fitted this to turbo Vado 4.0 and it works adjusted max speed to 35km as in Oz it’s limited to 25. Battery consumption increased a bit, but very happy after 1st commute. Found it a little more jerky cutting in and out at new max speed, but this may just be a consequence of it being higher.

There is no longer a Mission Control app on the Apple App Store. The new app Specialized has put out does not display real-time information like shown on your video. Is it possible to update this video to show how it is done with the current (new) Specialized app? Also is the Pear Control device “on” by default or do I have to turn it on every time I start to ride by pressing the walk assist button?

I don’t rate this company, my chip stopped working after 3 months, emailed them and no response at all…

I've owned quite a few bikes in the past that were absolutely uncomfortable to ride and they always ended up as garage wall decor . I'm not seeing that with this one. It's pretty light I've only ridden it a few miles but I like it . As for the pedals falling off in the other reviews , the pedal arms are aluminum along with the pedal studs look to be also . I would not overtighten them. I can see it would be very easy to overtighten them and strip the threads right off . All in all I think it's pretty good quality besides the aluminum pedal thing

Tried speed box 1.0b which was detected after 100 km. tried peartune and it was even worse. Terrible customer service so returned. Waiting for volspeed or splug

Great video, once you have calibrated this to 23km what is the maximum speed it will operate at? Do you need to adjust it again to set max speed above 23km?

Great support and communication. I ordered this for my BH AtomX Lynx Pro, and was having trouble getting it to function. I reached out to Katerina and she was very responsive. Which tools do you have to use? I bought the chip but not sure how to remove the pedal and cover

What I noticed is after about 10mins of turning the peartune on. When stopped at traffic lights, it will loose some of responsiveness and have to do a full a full rotation for the it to start assisting again. I originally thought this was a speedbox issue (had it on my cube reaction with cx motor) but has the same issue with the peartune aswell, I currently have a haibike trekking 10 with cx motor. I had both brands on a bosch performance line motor and that didn't have the delay issue, it seems the software/hardware is different for the cx motors? Does everyone else have this issue?
