A heavy shotgun on the paladin is going to be potent. That thing’s shield, plus two heavy shotguns and one light shotgun is going to be sick.

@@RichardGeresGerbil The only reason I favored the Acrid because heavy weapons are better for sniping! But Genesis is a beast indeed!

Acrid has a massive firepower advantage. 2 heavies / 1 medium vs 3 medium, plus the acid spit ability.

@danieldennis8236 it's not a massive difference. Even 3 maxed torrents will destroy just about anything let alone shotguns. I think the Genesis is better overall in most suitations because it has the fire-power and is tankier.

@elias438 Thanks for the suggestion. I promised that I will do this setup, and started already upgrading one Geyzer. The problem is I am very short on the Hermit components (while I have tons of Bastion components 😅)

@@ArmorAttack-c2k maybe you could show the geyzer brood keeper on the test sever then you could also see the full strength of that robot with those weapons but even with level you could feature that setup but take your time and i will wait

@@RichardGeresGerbil I think that you are right about the Shroud Goliath. It is the only set up that can win in a 1 on 1. Otherwise, I think the Acrid has always a good survival chance, especially when there are Bastions nearby to lifesteal from 😁

@ArmorAttack-c2k my Genesis is nearly mixed and when I face a high level acrid point blank we usually both die or the Acrid has a slither of health left then gets killed by a team mate but the Acrid for sure is the most dangerous one on one with the exception of the shotgun Shroud

Yea, I heard it's getting fixed on the next update bc it does too much dmg, I think there were suppose to be similar to orkan dmg

@@ArmorAttack-c2k the only weapon that does good damage with 350m range seems to be the Autocannon which granted is a heavy weapon but I think that may get nerfed

@@wesleyreimer3868 I never tried them because Bastions in general are not quick enough to get close to enemies. But I think the Flak cannon will be buffed soon after fixing the bug of fire rate.

Rams are great on spitfire, I currently have them at lvl 6 and against most enemies I can take them down in one burst with ability. You mostly use it to guard beacons and choke points.

@@RichardGeresGerbil This is what I am looking for right now: a Bastion weapon that actually works 😅. But so far I found only disappointment!!

@ArmorAttack-c2k I'm reluctant to go all in on Hermit and Empyreal because I believe they may get a nerf. I hope Bastions get a huge buff soon and I think the weapons aren't functioning as intended

@@RichardGeresGerbil True! There are clear bugs in Bastion weapons. Hopefully the will address them in the next update.

They already got a buff. I think what they really need is better weapons. They have weak versions of orkans and torrents and some homing weapons which are useless against other factions.

@ArmorAttack-c2k I have the resources to max them out but I'm not sure if it's worth it overall compared to other weapons doing at least double that damage for the same cost. Like the autocannons for instance which have pretty good range after the huge nerf to most of the ranges

@@RichardGeresGerbil If you look at the Auto Cannon upgrade scale, you see that you can do almost the same damage as the maxed version just by reaching level 7. The lvl8 and lvl9 upgrades are mostly for the magazine capacity. So I would not go for higher than lvl7 for Auto Cannon (Which is more important in my opinion)

@@ArmorAttack-c2k maybe but on a Paladin which can brawl 50% ammo capacity increase is huge in the right situation

​​Actually the dmg does have a massive increase with every upgrade on a weapon, the same way your robot gets a HP increase every lvl but it doesn't always say it in the upgrade and lvl 9 makes it do a lot more dmg​@@RichardGeresGerbil

@@NatanKB-l9r True! I think this is the only weakness that this character has. Without this, I think it would become insanely OP.

It is true that it is its only weakness but at least it reacts by turning faster, it does not look like a dragonfly but rather a bat, it takes too long to redirect, it needs the movement of Creper or Acrid. With ODOLISK's current speed it should be a tank. I really appreciate the work 😊

@PAKU.2 I have seen hangars with 4 Odolisk 😅😅. It is a very powerful character indeed

I think the Desolators (Empyreal snipers) are the best option. The video of maxed Desolators will come out soon.
