was looking forward to crocheting this leaf as I wanted it for a project. I spent all afternoon trying to follow thee pattern. Found instructions confusing as it said all the first lot of stitches into the first stitch. it should have been first chain...After turning couldn't follow what you were doing with the subtitle. For demonstration a larger hook and thicker yarn . May I send a big thank you for posting this pattern will persevere until I get it right as it is the prettiest leave I have seen.. Kind regards

I love this pattern, it’s one of the prettiest buttercup patterns available online. I’ve adapted it loads to make difficult variations. Thanks for sharing it. Could you try easing up on your tension. It looks a bit strained! I’m sure you’ll get better results with a slightly looser tension. Keep up the good work though

I am not sure if after the first section should I be working on the front or back.

I did the first section really easy. In the next section I could not really tell where you join for the back stitch then I wasn’t sure if it was one sc per back stitch or 2. Written instructions didn’t seem clear. I will try watching again or unfortunately I will have to abandon this video.

Make Leaves (total of 4): 1. Slip knot 2. Ch5 3. Ch3, then do a dc in the ch4 from hook (in other word, at the 5th chain from <2>) 4. 2dc for the next two chain 5. 1hdc 6. Sc 7. Ch2 8. Sc into the 1st st of the other side 9. 1hdc 10. 3dc 11. Ch3 12. Sl st into the same chain then cut and FO Make Stem: 1. Ch12 2. Attach leaf 1 by inc (2sc into the same st) 3. 3sc 4. 2INC 5. 3sc into the same space 6. Slst 7. 3sc into the same space 8. 2INC 9. 3sc 10. Inc **repeat for all of the leaves**

In the very beginning u write: ch3, 1tc, 2dc. HOWEVER, watching you, u ch3 & make a dc, not a TC. So is it a typo or ??? Also, what size hook? I looked & didn't see a size. I made 1 so far, it turned out great. I'm about to make lots more as mug rugs & give to several young men serving in the USA Navy with a friend's son. ❤ I'd like to add, consider no music, makes it hard to hear u. Blessings, L :)

Music is so very annoying and loud. Cannot see instructions no contrast between letters and background. No transcript no voice for instructions. A big waste of my time for nothing.
