The difference between dutch and American police is crazy. The police is very chill in my country. And the ppl are very chill against the police here.

It's great to hear that interactions with the police are more relaxed in your country! Unfortunately, the experiences can vary greatly depending on where you are. In some places, even minor misunderstandings can escalate quickly. That's why it's important for everyone, no matter where they are, to know their rights and how to handle situations safely. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

@@JurismateAI yea rules can differ alot. Like in my country you may not film eveywere on the street if you film somone and you post it on yt ppl can sue you. You may only film your own property. If someone breaks into your house you may not harm them unless its self defence. And in self defence you only may harm the necessary like if you mastered him you may not keep on punching them.(Stupid as it is) Another complete different thing is the gun laws. Like 99% of ppl here have no gun. So the police isn't afraid of guns . Wich makes a simple traffic stop really different. I see American police always on edge maybe even scared. The thing where they scream keep your hands on the steering wheel or in sight they will never say that here.

@@the-neo You're absolutely right-rules can differ significantly between countries. In the U.S., the legal landscape is quite different, particularly when it comes to self-defense, filming in public, and gun laws. Here, you generally have the right to film police interactions in public as long as you don’t interfere, which is crucial for accountability, especially given the frequency of firearm incidents. Self-defense laws vary by state, but many allow for more force (deadly) if someone unlawfully enters your home. As for traffic stops, the higher prevalence of guns understandably makes officers more cautious, hence the emphasis on keeping hands visible. It's fascinating (and sometimes frustrating) how much these laws can change from one place to another!

@@JurismateAIyea it is especially when it neighbour vountry's like germany i our neighbour country. If you get drunk in the pub in holland and you deceide to bicycle home you are fine. In germany you lose you car driver license. Few years ago you could be arrested for smoking weed in germany. 500 meters from the boarder in holland we have a coffeyshop. Its a store to buy weed 😂 We had 3000 parking spots there for german and belguim tourists

Thank you for your comment. While it's true that following instructions can often help de-escalate situations, it's important to recognize that this isn't always the case for everyone. Sadly, there are instances where individuals face unjust treatment even when they fully comply with police orders. Knowing and exercising your rights respectfully can provide an additional layer of protection and accountability during these encounters.
