Coming together with songs of praise glorifying the Lord, the members of different churches witness to unity, harmony, joy and friendliness. Christians can proclaim the 'Gloria' and share the peace which this world sadly lacks. The singing in the church is marked more by participation of the faithful represented by the choir and the 'solo' can feature as part of the chorus. What matters is the praise with everyone singing. The solo by N Kuruvila was marked by vocal expressiveness, depth, pathos, and range touching ever so faintly the 'hrdayam' notes.
