@@mtcpianist I just purchased Motherless Child and Naughtical Glimpses! Thank you!
@@keysforhealing3413 Thank you! Very kind of you! I hope you enjoy them!
The volume is a bit too low.
I didn't feel that way! Interesting!
Phenomenal 🎉
I heard your version on Classical 91.5fm this morning and may I say I haven't welled up in almost 6 years, this song got me. I went downstairs and gave my mother (who is my best friend) a huge embrace.. Thank you Maria for this incredibly heart moving rendition of such a message of a song ❤ 🎹 🎶 🙏
Wow, thank you! What an encouraging message. I truly appreciate your sharing this! Blessings to you.
Maria, I think you probably have been playing the piano since very young. You play great and sound great even without the music in front of you.
Thank you, Brian! I don't play from memory much anymore, but I'm glad you enjoyed this performance. It's a beautiful piece. Without the pandemic, I might not have learned it!
Wonderful! The sonics of love is terrific! Can a family Holiday album be far behind? Happy Holidays, Maria! ILYD
Happy holidays, Lin! ILYD ❤❤❤
Maria, I love this so much!....❤❤❤❤
Aww...thank you, Diva!! XOXOXO!!
😢 love joy and admiration streaming down my face Totally beautiful !!! Thank you
❤ Merry Christmas! So beautiful!!!
Merry Christmas!
Tears are streaming from eyes. Your voices opened the door for the Lord to find me! Thank you.
My goodness, thank you! Blessings to you, now and always.
Beautifu!❤❤
I love the reverberations throughout. They make us listen. The way you create “and small,” chokes me up. Beautiful..
Thank you, Jared!! I really, really appreciate your taking the time to listen and comment. Hugs to you!!!
I like that Latin melody that I recall from years past sung by a Spanish songstress. It was good to hear it again.
I wasn't deliberately quoting anything, actually. Just writing a tango. Which songstress, which melody?
Way back, when I was in my 70's, I loved Latin rhythms. It was a real stretch for me last night, hunting in my memories & I thought I'd nailed it. I'm so sorry for the mistake. I'm happy when something musical comes up on the computer from you, & I usually give it a try. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent!
@@diane4094 Thank you so much for listening, Diane!
The verve! If I could do a fraction of that, I might. Such powerful and colorful writing, my friend!
Jared, I need to hire you to do my PR! Thanks so much, my friend. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. <3
Genius! Satie is jealous right now.
My goodness, thank you!
Beautiful concert, Maria!
Thank you for listening, Cherry!!
Beautiful Lyric Tenor. I'm just watching the Beethoven right now - but he could be a little less musically exact and focus more on the emotions. Mehr Sehnsucht!
He wanted to keep it moving. I agree, gorgeous voice.
You’re very talented thank you for doing this ❤
Thank you so much!!
I love this!
Thank you!!!

@valerie_handani_pianist Same to you!
Your a very talented lady Maria. I'm having another listening. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for listening! I appreciate it!
Interesting piece Maria. Don't know that I've ever heard this by Chopin. And looks like you are playing from memory. I play all my guitar music from memory.
It's one of my favorite pieces! I don't play from memory anymore, actually. I had a history of doing that piece from memory, but these days I've been playing more contemporary pieces, and I'm getting older, so...iPad it is! I'm glad to see I'm not alone.
Love hearing more of your music Maria!
Thank you, Brian!
is there sheet music of this arrangement?
Yes! It's in a collection of Mark Hayes. GG1739 (Gaither Music). It's called Christmas at the Piano.
What a beautiful, thoughtful and inspiring performance! 🥰 I am currently working on this piece and it is really a pleasure to play. Greetings from Poland ❤🎹
Greetings to you, and thank you so much!! I agree. It's a gorgeous piece. Enjoy!!

My goodness, thank you, Susan!
I come back to this peaceful & beautiful rendition by Fern & Eva. It's in my Favorites folder. I'm not one to listen to "church music", but this is special to me!
I will share this comment with them! I'm so happy you like it! They are truly a dynamic duo!
Thankyou Maria! I had a loving mother!
I had no idea when I posted this how many people would watch it! I have a loving mother. I am grateful to still have her, having lost my dad 9 years ago.
My sanctuary is in Jesus my Lord, since January 1967, at the age of nineteen. Thankyou Maria! It's been nice getting to know you!
Thank you, Brian! Have a blessed Christmas!
Very nice walking in the snow suite
Thank you! 😊
Very interesting Maria! What does Cerulean mean?
It's a shade of blue, usually associate with the sky. I should really re-edit this so it only starts once! Oh well...
Hi Maria, you really have quite a story. As for me I discovered the classical guitar beginning of 1980. I am all self taught As a. Christian I've been writing gospel songs since 2010. Have written about one hundred. Sorry to hear of your injury. God bless! I've been enjoying your other videos. You are really a very talented lady. I wish you all the best!
I love classical guitar! My sister was very accomplished, but chose the piano. There's nothing like writing music, is there? Re my injury, do you mean my car accident? I suspect I talked about that on my TH-cam channel, though I don't remember doing so (maybe that's the concussion!). All is well, though. Take care, and God bless!
Here I am again. Love your posture and expression. I've learned The Entertainer.and Weeping Willow on my classical guitar which I've played in public. Thanks again, your playing really lifts me!
I can't imagine how one would play either of those on the guitar! Wow! As for my posture, I had shoulder problems a while back. Nothing like pain to motivate such things. 😊
I'm back, had to take another listen of your wonderful playing. Thanks so much!
Welcome back!
I'm so glad you enjoy it enough to listen again. That made my day!
Just incredible! i knew it was you playing from the very first chord!
Aww...thanks, Takenya!!!
It's great to see and hear a black lady playing the music of the genius Scott Joplin.
I love ragtime! As you mention it, I don't see a lot of us playing it. Hmm...
Beautiful Performance!
Thank you!
so lovely
Thank you!
Such a pleasure listening to you play this. It sounded flawless. You played loudly and quietly in just the right places. Well done!
Thank you so very much! I'm smiling!
😢Great! Way to play Ragtime tunes.
Thank you! This is one of my favorites!
Wonderful, thank you.
Thank-you for playing so beautifully at my Grand-mother’s funeral at the Olney Street Baptist Church shortly after August 23rd 2000.
Are you from Providence Rhode Island?
Hi Christopher, Is this comment for Anthony? I am not from RI.
@@mtcpianist yes.
I also like the combination of these particular instruments. Wish this was a video.
Hopefully, it will be performed again, some day. I'll definitely post a video if and when I have one.
Oh, I love that sound! A merry tune to lift the spirit!
I decided to write something cheerful to balance the barrage of bad news. I'm glad it had the desired effect. 😊
