You are my source of inspiration Manring on bass, it is indescribable how deep you transmit (it reminds me of a very dear friend who left earthly 😔, she would have loved to hear your piece, very ethereal atmosphere) greetings from Mexico.
Thank you master
Incredible sound, who says the bass doesn't have feeling?? You are a teacher Michael!!! Listening to this delight from Mendoza, Argentina
@@claudioamaya8827 Thank you!
Amazing and moving composition, thank you for blessing us Michael.
Amazing as always!
Michael, my goodness. What a great little video. I wanted it to go on for 2 hours. Big fan for 30 years. Live in Chicago, drive to San Fransisco to see you at a coffeee shop in ‘98 and met you briefly. Your contribution to the world of bass is undoubtedly the most poignant and important in history.
Thank you so much! 😊🙏🏼
Just when I think I’ve got a real handle on playing the bass, I hear Michael Manring. Awesome. One of the 2 greatest bass soloists alive today.

Brilliant stuff Michael! Discovered Windham Hill about a year ago - your work was my greatest discovery in that journey. Unusual Weather is a personal top 5 album. So glad I found your channel tonight - thanks for enriching my creativity 🎶

Your playing is one of a kind. Left me speechless. I'm on my way to learn the instrument, at 42 years old. Always loved bass and rhythm

Been a fan for well over a decade, it’s classical bass if there is such a thing! Michael you’re a genius, beautiful work as always! God bless, Mike C.
Thank you, Mike! I hope it's not pretentious, but I think of what I do as a kind of 21st Century chamber music.
