She can have my palm tree it grows bananas
Not found of Palm trees they are very evasive
Neither am I. The banana plants we planted last year are going crazy though. 15 pups from 5 plants planted last year
First I thought it was Cajun ingenuity, but then I realized it was just Redneck Engineering! Lol!
@littlewhitedory1 lol it works and I am proud bro. We can call it whatever you like
Amen
Oh brotha, it’s coming to life!
@littlewhitedory1 test drive as soon as I can get someone to video it! I wanna make sure if it works or breaks I get it one video! Lol
@@CajunHydroponics gosh, that should be good! Can’t wait!
Man, you’re ambitious!
Hahaha nope. Just wanting to complete something I been wanting to do forever. This is so much fun, so much thought of how to do this or what doing this will cause for that.. and it's helping me get ready to get back to work!
@@CajunHydroponics that’s awesome! The way I see it you’ll be mounting the Dollar Store Vertical veggie tower on that buggy too, that way you can show off of all your Cajun Ingenuity! Gro Dat Brotha Danny! Can’t wait to hear about all the casualties when that thing is up and running! Make videos! Cajun Golf Cart Drag Racing (modified class!) that’s gotta sell here on the Tube! Lol.
👍😎
My kind a project! lol I hope it just falls together for you! I Have schemed the idea of putting a 4cly motorcycle engine on a golf cart... Kind of a sleeper toy... But I'm years behind on my projects, along with the honey do's . Have a great weekend!
It's super easy if you make the back rigid. Just makes it ride ruff! That thing will scoot with a motor like that. I have seen videos on yt where they hit 45 mph with the setup I am using. Though I am using larger tires. But if I can get to 25 I will be happy. Way to top heavy. Now the next one won't have forward and reverse but it will have a 13 hp. Lowered to the ground like a regular golf cart! Good luck with all the projects! I am only doing this one because of my injury. If not I would be wide open with the tomatoes
Thanks for the update brother. Blessings on that knee. Looks like a cool project. I've been cleaning out my garage/shop all day. I wanna make some stuff this fa/winter - knives, furniture, a manger for the church, and maybe a double barrel shotgun. We shall see. Haha. Grow dat!
Thanks brother. I was so far behind on the shop being hurt. And seemed like everyone dropped everything off ever borrowed while I was hurt and just filled the floor up. Good luck with your straightening up your garage! Knives are so cool. But I hope to be back in the Greenhouse in the spring. Take care brother!
😎👍👍😎
👍👍
looks amazing. would like to see the parts and build
Hi there everyone hugs and love
Hi back and love to yall as well!
Use what you got
Exactly bro. It all helps and has its pros and cons. But if it's free it will work
I did pecan leaves last year. Never again. Every last pecan started growing. Didn't filter the pecans out. 🤣
Bro you supposed to pass Dat wit a lunmower first! I wish I could get a trailer load of them here.
I'm pro pine needles. No matter what I do with grass, like you said, seed goes where the wind blows. Since you're already swimming in this humidity anyway, want ours?🤣
I love them as well. We just don't have access to much free ones here. I did find a lady last year that let's me sweep her yard for them. But after the first time I went I got hurt. Gonna start there again soon. They help alot over the grass clippings especially after a couple years and layers. Sure send the humidity here lol. It can't get much worse. I don't mind working in the humidity I find it helps cool me off. But when there are no clouds it feels like we're under a magnifying glass! Lol
Wondered if you were still do the videos....been awhile. Sorry about your leg. I am having some of the same....gardening almost impossible now. Can sympathize.....bummer! Hope you improve soon....hang in there🙂.....Donna B
The leg os getting better. Just taking some time. Able to get out and do a bit more almost everyday. The videos had slowed down a bit before I hurt my leg when I started a new job and was alot busier. Not sure how many videos I will be doing once I get back to work. But these right now are helping me keep my mind straight
@@CajunHydroponics Yep... most aggravating things always seem to take the most time. Ugh....hard to be patient!!! Yep, the main thing with injury is def keeping the mind straight... often the hardest thing to do.
My wife gets the neighbors leaves because no chemicals on them.
I wish I could get more leaves around here. People just tend to mulch them back into their yards. I should be getting more pine needles soon. Maybe more grass clippings. All the clippings I got were chemical free. Grass grows too fast here for anyone to put more fertilizer in their yards lol
Hello bro
Hey bro hope all is well up there
Getting the groove back. Thanks for the share!
@UT33200 trying bro. Getting out of bed this morning I heard a pop and the leg is soar now. Not much going on now
dude why so slow? Is chubs pushing you?
Bro we have mutant grass here. It was tall, thick and wet. Like I like my women. But it's always slow going. Will be going tomorrow with the yard rake to pick up the grass and pile it up so I can go this weekend and cut with the mower and get it back under control
Heck Yeah!! Can't beat good natural free grass clippins !!!
If it's free it's for me lol
I bet you are ready to go back to work.
Good to see your recovery is underway Danny! Just a little time each day and I imagine you are also seeing progress around your property. I think that is called patience... our Great Teacher!! Couple of months will pass by quickly, especially if you are not over doing your recovery! Just like your next video Danny, bit by bit moves the content and recovery along well! -Bob...
@wranther I have not been to the property in about 2 months. The grass is out of control. I have the clip hooked in the tractor but I want to finish here first. I have half a load of hay lefton thr trailer. If no rain today I should get it unloaded and set if the rain stays away till after 4pm. I am trying to be patient. But they say to try things. Go slow and don't do it if it hurts. Alot of the issues now are pretty much in my head after not using the leg normally for the last 4 months. That and fatigue 😩. Lol a little more every day is all I can hope for. Take care!
@@CajunHydroponics Just a little bit each day as you say Danny! And when tired, take a break to reward yourself for all your progress!!
@@wranther that's the plan!
Don't over do it
Those grass clippings sounds like the way to go. Glad you are doing good . Don't rush the healing process to much. Take care danny
Thanks bro. Not rushing. Doing exactly what they tell me I can do. I don't wanna tear it again. That would be guaranteed not to be going back to work. The surgery a second time is only about 40 percent success rate and the person at my age would have to dial back alot of activity because if it happens again they don't even try and attach it. It's just a cane or crutches the rest of the life. I don't want any of that. It's hard taking my time and moving slow. But I am getting up the steps now with no rail. Down I need a bit of help. The good thing about the house being 6 foot in the air is I have 10 steps up and down every time I come in! Lol Take care bro hope all is well for yall
Hey Stranger
@@LittlePieceofHeavenFarm hey yall!!
Sound really nice.
Glad to see your update. Thanks for letting us know what's been going on. That's a great tip about the grass. I do that too, taking care to avoid clippings that have seed in them when I can.
Thanks bro. I don't worry much about the seeds. We have plenty of them flying around in the wind here. I use a hand full of preen sprinkled around helps alot with it. Take care brother!
I just mowed Moms lawn a couple of days ago and spent yesterday raking up "hay" for mulch. Works great here in Idaho! Hope you get back in shape. I know the feeling - turned 70 this year and wasn't very nice to my body when I was younger.
The heat here the last week has been brutal. Though I still rather it than the cold. Lol I aint raking nothing! Lol I paid good money for the sweeper and it works great. One of the best investments for around the house saves alot of time. Besides work and about a 5 year stretch of hosting karaoke and drinking. I have been pretty easy on my body. Though there has been many, many, many hours of work out in the summer sun here. Thanks for stopping by bro!
Good to see you out & working!
Thanks bro. It's a learning experience for sure. Slow and easy with lots of breaks
Sucks about the green house, but next year will be better!! 👍❤️
I do the same with my plants and hardly have to water, helps a lot in our area. Thank goodness for Sheena. Hope your leg gets to feeling better soon.
Thanks bro! And yep we have plenty grass around here to be used. Lol
Hey Danny!! To echo the other comments it IS Good To see you again and i pray for a speedy & healthy recovery it just ain't the same without Cajun on here. Peace
Hey there brother! Thank you!. Just have alot on the mind with the leg. Not been interested in youtube and it's hard to be interested in something I can do right now. Lol
My compost made best with grass clippings. Glad to see your face. hope the leg gets better soon!
Thank you. Yep grass clippings spark up the composting process!
I'm chopping and dropping already buddy I came home to weeds taller then me 😂
I did that as well with the banana leave that were looking bad. Then thought the grass on top. Good luck with your weeds!
@@CajunHydroponics ya my back is holding me back some but that's ok I can make a maze of weeds to kinda hide the weed from view 🤣legal to grow but... Still want to hide some from the road... Unlike bananas I plant thorny plants around the fruit trees too so I will have fun finding everything 😂 Good luck just do what you can do and that's ok Give the rest to the real big guy 💞🙏 Mulch love ;)
@@CajunHydroponics and by the way this is what the real garden wars are about for me... Eh.. :) Keeping friends motivated Don't push your body let it heal some Just keep listening to it that's all
I really enjoyed the update ! I love using grass mulch i'm about to get out and get some myself . Heck I'm hardly on TH-cam anymore i'm on a different journey right now . I could hardly walk from my mailbox to the lane to go to our back field a few months ago now I can go 6 miles . I'm getting a second chance at life I didn't see coming lol . Thanks for sharing and have a blessed Sunday !
Thanks bro! Wow glad to hear your on the right path bro. Seen pics on FB you lost alot of weight. Looking good. I was walking between 2 to 4 miles 5 days a week. Then they changed my therapy and I have not been able to walk that much nor that far. But it's starting to get better. Thing about giving it a shot again Wednesday
Good to hear from you danny
Thanks brother! Hope yall are well
First
You da man!!
very nice hope you are doing well
Bet it’s wet there today, 😊
@philliphall5198 not much rain here thee last few days just enough to make the grass grrow
I see alot of them with wrong carb and throttle will not connect properly 😢😢😢
Right there are 2 different carbs for this weedeater. And they are for the same numbers. You have to know what you have before you order

Just started gardening wh a greenhouse and was going through you tube for tips and let me tell you when you started talkin i new this was the place to be !!!
Lol I guess you like the accent 🤣 Should have heard it before I spent 3 years in ohio. I only share what I know works. Ibdont try to lead anyone one way or the other but I will tell you how it works for me. Kind of dealing with some medical issues lately and not doing much. But if you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will answer the best I can. Take care! Gro Dat!!
Are you using expended clay pellets aka. hydroton? They provide good drainage and aeration, allowing oxygen to reach the roots. Also, they are reusable and pH neutral, making them suitable for various hydroponic systems. As far as my research go, they are the best soil for hydroponic.
Hey there. I was not. I was using a 50/50 mixture of perlite and vermiculite. I am not a fan of the clay balls for timed runs. I only used them for continuous solution movement. These towers were running 4 times a day for 20 min each
@@CajunHydroponics Oh I see. I'm impress with your DIY towers. 😃
@jessicalaurion7103 thank you. I wish I could get the watering and draining to work better. But I have been having some health issues preventing me from trying new things with them
Speedy recovery there y'all ole southern style crooner! No wonder your plants all do so well... you serenade them! -Bob...
Thank you Mr Bob. Looking like atleast 3 more months of PT before possible heading back to work. Lol I don't think the plants enjoy my singing this year! Lol they all dead. Hope all is well for you!
@@CajunHydroponics Hope you are healing up all good as new Danny! Still time, especially down your way, to fire up another round of plantings too isnt there? Looking forward to more positive videos and good words from the Gardener in you being successful still to come!! -Bob...
@wranther I am thinking of starting seeds next week for fall tomatoes. But we're running into the 2 hottest monthsbof the year here so not sure how they will do
@@CajunHydroponics I would be curious if a bit of shade cloth stretched overhead could temper the hot summer sun while allowing airflow in from the sides and ends Danny? Still too down there for that to work?
@wranther we do that normally putting the shade cloth up in the end of may. It helps us make tomatoes through the end of June begenning of July. But in July it's just to hot out in the GHs. Hoping that the area were building in the back yard is able to pust thought to mid August. We're gonna add shade cloth there as well
He’s alive!
Barely bro Barely! 😪 😆 🤣
