I'm an Entertainment Industry/Owner Operator Truck Driver (paid tourist), FCC Licensed Extra Class Amateur Radio Operator (N1SJK), FAA Licensed Part 107 Drone Pilot and an overall technology/electronics geek.
If you are an owner operator with a valid US Passport and you would like to drive less, while earning a guaranteed minimum average of $3,500/week as a single driver or a guaranteed minimum of $5000/week as a team, all while spending less on fuel, maintenance and repairs, and earning a living as essentially a paid tourist then ask me how. We get paid well to kick back and enjoy the places we go to. Our drivers behave more like a close knit family than coworkers.
From June to December 2021 I toured with the Rock group Chicago. This Spring/Summer 2022, I'm touring with the Riverdance 25th Anniversary tour. Touring in the Transportation Industry is like no other trucking job you've ever had before!

It’s called training and experience. With both comes wisdom. With wisdom rocket science is just rocket science, nothing more nothing less. I’m glad you can do your job well enough to not damage property or personnel-/--an army saying.
Nothing impresses me more than truck drivers making tight ass turns obviously knowing every inch of the truck. Just awesome.
I used to deliver a load of car and truck windshields to a storage unit in Pennsylvania. Lot of the truckers I talk to hated that drop because you had to jackknife into one slot for unloading. And if you didn't do it properly you had a cliff in front of you and a wall in back of you.❤
Looks pretty open to me. Now when that area isn't marked off and all the employees park there. Then he has to squeeze it in with other trucks too....
Greyson Hurst do not be in the car to the hospital 🏥 you can come over here please let us know 😊
If it's a good driver Parking anywhere at a loading dock isnt a challenge
I performed ballet there before!
Congrats Norman!
Thanks!
😮, love it
What’s your point?
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Looks good buddy
Thanks!
How big a boat?
I'm buying a Tahoe 2150 CC. So I needed a 2" receiver.
Dual Quads to boot! My dad had a 56’ in the AF back in the 50’s. He told me he out ran a cop on the way to Vegas and carried a silk parachute in the trunk to lay on the beach on date nights. I found a custom pool stick and bowling ball in the garage when I was a teen . He probably had a lot of fun back in his day
She brought me to the U.S. fromScotland in May of 1958. I am still hoping she stays afloat somewhere.
Great looking vette ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I thought so too!
Hey! I was a local hand that day! Cool!
No way! Fantastic! Did you and I talk that day?
@@NormCobbJrTourLife I’m sure we probably did 🤣 there was probably something like “no twerking rose” in chalk on the truck wall lol
I'll hopefully be going here in november for beetlejuice.
Sweet! That aught to keep you out of the cold winter temps up north.
And like the Titanic, it’s about to be sunk.
What source says, "it's about to be sunk?" Please enlighten us with your infinite wisdom. I seriously doubt any ship with that much recyclable metal, would simply be pissed away and sunk with no way of reclaiming all that valuable metal. What you're claiming makes no economic sense to whoever currently owns it.
@@NormCobbJrTourLife Florida's Okaloosa County has signed an agreement to purchase the SS United States for the sole purpose of making it the largest dive site to boost local tourism
@@loganstaal3162 I was wondering it that might be the case. It does seem like a waste of a massive quantity of materials that could be easily recycled rather than having to mine more material to replace what's merely going to sit on the bottom of the ocean for human entertainment. What's the true ecological cost of our doing this with a massive ship? How many divers may die inside such a diving attraction in the future?
If you don't mind me asking what roads did you take to get to the center
Our directions bring us in from the Eastern side of DC on Route 50 West. It becomes New York Ave NW and we follow it to 6th Street. Turning left onto 6th. Follow that down to Constitution Ave NW, turning right onto Constitution. Follow that to Virginia Ave NW and bear right onto it. Bypass the underpass on Virginia by keeping to the right of it until the Rotary. Bear right onto the rotary, and follow that around to 25th Street NW exit leading to the Kennedy Center. Hope that helps. Be safe!
Did u ever get it fixed?
I sold it to APU Center in Stafford, MO for $700. They'll refurbish it and sell it to someone else. I bought a new Thermo King 3rd generation (www.thermoking.com/na/en/road/auxiliary-power-units/tripac-apu.html) Tripac with 4 solar panels. It was the best decision, I could have made, because my last truck payment was in December of 2023. So this new Tripac gives me a hefty tax deduction for 2024.
What roads do I use coming in from Nashville TN to the same location you are at
Rick, I'm not sure what you mean? I'm at home now. If you're getting into the Kennedy Center you should either have directions from Clark Transfer, or your company or use your GPS. My channel isn't intended to replace your directions or GPS.
The only place I don’t see this kind of a thing is in the western world. But the rest of the world they do this Africa, Asia Middle East same same
My question is, why? What is the purpose or reason?
My dad had a Honduras Red ‘60 with a power top and windows, white ht and cove . He sold it for $1100. To by his ‘67 big block roadster. Life was good then ! 🇺🇸👍🙋♂️🖖🏻
Awsome 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
What is the address
www.thecarsoncenter.org/ It's on their website.
Where is this?
Downtown Ottawa.
Hey Norman, new subscriber here, Darren. Im very interested in joining the Clark Transfer family in a couple of years. I've just been offered a position with Bulk Carriers (PEI) Ltd. Hopefully, in a year or two once I have my PR, I can purchase my own truck? Do you know of any Canadian hauliers on board with Clark Transfer?
Hi Darren! I don't think we have any Canadian owner operators at the moment. I'm not sure if that's even a possibility. One way to find out, though, would be to call recruiting (717) 238-6581 and ask Bill Evans if Clark Transfer can lease on a Canadian owner operator. He'll know. Thanks for subscribing, and be safe!
Same problem in Laramie Wyoming. It’s the 7k plus altitude
Explain please how altitude will effect one manufacturers engine design and not all engines, of all trucks, cars, motorcycles, lawnmowers, construction equipment etc. at that altitude?
Freemasons always doing good
What does the Freemasons have to do with the Stanley Theatre in Utica, NY. My researching found that Thomas W. Lamb (who happened to be a Freemason) designed the Stanley Theatre and several other theatres across America during the Vaudeville era. Is this affiliation what you're referring to? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_W._Lamb
I’ve been there I passed by there in 2016 going south from Reno to Las Vegas I thought it was nice as I approached it ..I didn’t stop just kept going but then I wondered why I didn’t see not a soul or cars or campers or boats..😮
My research finds that Walker Lake is drying up and that lowering water levels make it difficult for boats to navigate. I'm guessing they're hitting bottom in places? It is reported that Walker River is diverted for Agriculture and no longer reaches the Lake, that plus for local Agricultural needs ground water is pumped to water crops adding to the lowering levels in the lake. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walker_Lake_(Nevada)
9:34 Great video, Norm. This is not the first time I’ve looked up one of your videos for best practices info before going to a venue. I happen to be parked at the 1st eastbound OnRoute in Quebec, 81 km to the Place des Arts. 78°F at the moment so dealing with snow is likely a non-issue today. My routing will probably vary some from the norm (pun intended) since a festival is happening today around that area and some roads are closed (no surprise, yes?!!). Your channel is a bloody entertainment venues how-to app! So useful. Really appreciate all the effort you put into it.
Thanks Rob! Tell Tina I said hi!
Very cool site I'd like to check this place out😎 nice drone too looks like🙂👍
Thanks 👍
Duct tape and jb weld, it'll be alright
I'm just blown away from the standpoint that someone was riding around with a wheel that was extremely close to failing catastrophically before they thought maybe I aught to replace it.
@@NormCobbJrTourLife I hear that…. Maybe the previous driver didn’t notice it or didn’t care… only that person knows.
Good as long as not NYC 😂
NYC is a breeze in our line of work. We go in at night, sleep on the street at our delivery point, getting a full layover, then leave during the day. Easy peasy.
If thats shower 4, you might wanna go get tested
Tested for Athletes Foot? Why what disease did you leave in there that their normal cleaning isn't going to remove? That's a kind of willfully ignorant comment isn't it?
I'm amazed its clean and floor turd free
The truck stop showers I've used are cleaned after each drivers shower. So they should, in theory, be cleaner than your shower at home.
Retired truck driver after 32 years OTR sold my home in California after 41 years for 680k and moved to small lake town in Wisconsin and watch trucker videos and also I now drive about 12 miles a week , ther is life after you turn your CDL for a regular drivers license, dig the videos stay safe out there ☮️
Trailer backed in to him looks like trailer hinge marks
If it were, it would've left damage lower and higher than those marks, yet it didn't.

Tongue in cheek to a degree, in that most fishermen and hunters alike fib a bit about their adventures. LOL
Use to be called dingle balls

Retired truck driver after 32 years OTR but stumbled across your channel 👍
That's awesome. Thanks for watching!
Look into Green APU, we have units that we installed in 2011 still on the road and keeping drivers comfortable.
When I went shopping for an APU I saw two major brands with national networks for repairs. GreenAPU wasn't one of them.
I live in Milwaukee and love it!!
I was able to get out unscathed. Though i have family that still lives there, ive only been back 2x. I broke the generational curse.
Hi Norm, I am close to retirement and at a great place in life. I would love to load out for a 1or2 year ride with Clark. Will they accept my newly reconditioned 2003 midroof tricked out freightliner ?

😲 that's not good!
I run a similar type set up on my channel. Local 1.2ghz and 220 mhz epeater in NYC if your ever in the area. Good to see others trying for 1.2ghz
It's too bad the manufacturers don't make equipment for the 1.2 Ghz and 220 bands. 😪
@@NormCobbJrTourLife Chinese Manufacturers are making numerous 220mhz FM radios and for a while Alinco had a 1.2ghz/900mhz HT and Icom has the expensive 905 for VHF/UHF/SHF.
Is that for the 1 wheel?
No, my motorcycle. I have a skateboarding helmet for my One Wheel.
