The writers truly were horrible to Leonard most of the time . Lactose intolerant seemed to be his main character point. Pretty sad and pathetic. And chasing Penny was a huge mistake . It's not love , it's codependence; she's rude and arrogant. At least Galecki gets the money... Clearly that's all he wanted from this role . He certainly sold his soul.... and his artistry.

This was great writing. Bernie, Penny , and even Leonard, truly concerned. In fact , Leonard is the first one to suggest calling Amy. In my experience, people are often "out of sight, out of mind".
