ESV Heirloom Heritage Edition, Wellington Leather! 1 year use update!
I have an extremely hard time setting things above myself. Anyone can be my equal. No one is above me. This is a character flaw I don’t seem to be able to conquer.
we ride a plane without knowing the pilot, and we trust him/her we ride a bus without knowing the driver, and we trust him/her so why not let the Lord drive our lives, trusting Him with all of our faith?
Nice vid, like the set
Thanks!

2024 isn't over yet! What if you read a book even better than those 3 in the next two weeks?!?!?!?!
😂, I’m on my last book of the year right now and it might have to make next years list!
hey brother, thanks for the video! I just got the same one and I love it. I don't want to collect bibles either but certainly I have some. Out of curiosity, how many premium bibles do you have? Do you have all the major translations? or do you gravitate to ESV only? Thanks again, Blessings!
I count 7 I think. 6 are esv and one lsb. Most of them are different uses, for example I have a readers bible and study bible then this compact bible.
The Wellington has become my favorite leather. I have the Omega, I just wish the paper was thicker.
@@chyrongreen yes, that’s one of the reasons I tend to like Allan bibles or Thomas Nelson from the premier collection.
Hi. I have all three of these and they are very nice Bibles. So glad they revived the RSV as well. God bless and have a joyous Christmas season.
Thank you! You too!
Great review! You have quite the collection!
Thanks!
What is your daily Bible
@ currently it is this one. I was using a journaling Bible and digging deeper into some books.
@ what books I see there is a $35 one I don’t care too much about the binding cause I use all my bibles and they get wear and tear on them haha
Would love to see how this is aging
There is a video out on my channel about this!

Great resource. Sounds exciting!
Brand new to learning Greek. If I work through Mounces Greek/workbook/videos plus take two semesters of Greek at my seminary, would than be to the point where I could read this?
Yes you could, probably even before you finish it all you could start. When learning the big thing is to work at it every day, I recommend when you first learn to pronounce words to just start reading and as you learn more you can actually start going for understanding.
Hi great vid, do you think you could measure the length and width of this bible and share that? I am debating on wether i want to get one or not and the main thing im worried about is the size. I own a premium esv verse by verse reference bible and think it is too big to carry. Thanks
It is 6in wide and 9in tall
Beautiful Bible. I love the Heritage format - reminds me of the Clarion, but better because the text is further out of the gutter. I rarely use cross-references. That price though! I might grab a Trutone edition when they release them next February.
I agree there it is very high, I think because of the format the truetone will sell really well.
I only wish Crossway's non-premium paper was a bit better. The opacity on a lot of their non-premium Chinese printed Bibles kind of stinks. It's frustrating to have to choose either very mediocre paper or super expensive, with nothing between.@@Bible_Tidbits
Great overview. Thanks. Now, this version or the goatskin?
I have a few goat skin Bibles and they are nice but I definitely prefer this one personally.
The leather is the same as the Horween. It's chromexcel. I have the thinline in Horween. I didn't like it when I pulled it out of the box. Breaking it in changed it radically. It's floppy and feels amazing. It will always be a little stiff compared to goatskin because it's so thick. You can easily buff out scratches once it breaks in.
Thanks for a helpful review! I was wondering about the differences between the Wellington and the Horween but it sounds like they're very similar. For a premium single column ESV, I also like the Schuyler Treveris. But I think I might like the Heirloom Heritage a bit better, though I wish it had some color (e.g. red accents) like the Treveris does. Great Bible regardless!
The thing that steered me away from the Treveris was the verse numbers being off to the side. I think it would be good for a readers Bible but I prefer to have my verses in the text since they do not bother me.
