Okay....I am a mid-level professional player and a coach. I am going to try to help you: First of all, your serves bounce too high and go too deep most of the time. You need to keep them low, and you need to try to get it to where the ball will come close to bouncing for its 3rd time on your opponent's baseline. This is called a half-long serve. Secondly, it is obvious to me that your rubbers are too sensitive to incoming spin for you, and that your blade is not fast enough. This is why you don't have the confidence to attack high pushes or long serves to your backhand. Try the DHS Hurricane 3 NEO on the forehand, and try the DHS Hurricane 3 NEO *37 DEGREES* on the backhand. Get yourself a Butterfly Viscaria blade (get the flared handle, trust me), or get the DHS Hurricane Long 5 blade. This combination will make it so you will be able to attack the ball as soon as it's above net height when it's over the table, or as soon as it clears your baseline after bouncing. Thirdly, you need to keep your right foot slightly behind the level of your left foot basically at all times. Then, when you're attacked on your forehand side, wait longer and actually swing at the ball. Fourthly, get yourself some proper TT shoes. They make a huge difference. You won off the edge ? Lots of pushing going on, a lot of the time you are letting your opponent change the pace of the game and getting topspin attacks in.

MG: 3 Isaac: 2 MG challenged Isaac to best of 5 games at Birley table tennis club. MG went 2 games to 0 up, then Issac got back in with 2 games. MG took the win in the 5th game. Isaac has improved a lot over the summer league practice. He has a good back hand punch which is really fast. A great game - thank you.
