Tried the skip yesterday for the first time in my life with your tutorial. Thank you, it worked on PC with the steam version. It’s the first time ever for me doing a speedrun technique in FF7 and I am kind of hooked!

I’ve been trying to figure out why everyone hates the hats. Maybe I just got lucky, bit I think they’re (it’s) great.

what do you do for a day job while being able to look as cool as this?

I have to agree .... I have 2 identical SE kits, one permanently set up in our rehearsal room and one at home for self practising and gigging and Ive done exactly that. Turning the hi hat around is a revelation. Everything works as good as it can now. I spent mths playing with settings, gettng nowhere and only getting more frustrated. I thought the edge triggering was hopeless anyway, far too random and erratic but now it plays great. Great vid 👍👍

I've been doing this for a couple years now. It's a shame we have to do it at all considering how much we paid. I wan't to get your opinion on something though. would you consider getting the new Strata Prime kit from them or if you got something new would you switch brands all together? I love the entire set especially with EZ Drummer and Superior drummer it sound AMAZING but that FUCKING HI HAT ruining the set. I figure for $3000 dollar or so after tax it should work pretty damn close to perfectly without having to sacrifice my sound.

My problem has always been the footwork of the hi-hat. It triggers too much when lifting the foot trying to play fast-ish things. Fiddled with the spring, the digital offset, the sensitivity - none really make a difference.

Hey man !!! Just a nickels worth of free advice. I'd go with the Roland TD27, or, if you have the money, the TD-50. Nothing beats the digital hi hat, snare and ride. It's like a different world because of the technology. I've tried the Strike at a Music Go Round near me, and the sounds were fine, but it didn't play well. If your just an average rock drummer or beginner that doesn't need to do rim shots, or yer just playing straight up simple beats, then anything will be fine, but if you want the intricate hits and stuff that's closer to an acoustic set, then the Roland digital stuff is as close as I've felt to that feel. I had the TD17 before I got the TD27, and they're a world apart because of the digital hardware. The TD17 is an excellent kit too !!!! But to go from the hi-hat 10's on the TD-17 to the digital 14's on the TD27, there's a huge difference. Same with the digital snare !!! Holy smokes is the digital snare WAY better !!!!!! LOL And you can't beat having all the intricate hits on the ride !!! I can't wait for the future and when they'll get even better !!!!!! Lots of good stuff going on in the edrum world !!!! I can't get my amp out of the case, I've loosened all the screws but it's somehow stuck Do you have any ideas?

i tried the others as i never glitched in ff7, they didnt work, i tried this for 2 hours. finally got it, so far this is THE only one that has worked for me, thank u so much mate so helpful in learning this stuff.
