Popsicle sticks - 4.5" and 2.5"
Hot Glue & glue sticks
Wooden Bead - 16mm or approximately .5" size
Scissors or Razor Saw & protective table mat
Ruler
Acrylic paint (your color choice for the angel) - I used white and a tan color
Paint brush
Modge Podge or Glue
Eye hooks, small size
Optional - Yarn or string for hanging
Gold pipe cleaner for the halo
Embellishments for decorating: sequins, fine glitter, chunky glitter, hearts, stars, etc...
Optional - fine grit sandpaper
Optional - acrylic spray to seal or use the gloss Modge Podge

How much dollar bills was used for this lei?

How much yards of each color of the eyelash ribbon will you need to use to make the lei?
I bought 1 skein of each color. Not sure of the yards. The lowest amount skein had 76 yds, but I definitely did not use all of it.
Our first V11 had a trigger problem but we were lucky that it wa still under warranty. Our just over 2 year replacement V11 Torque isn’t charging, canister keeps sliding down, and the wand barely connects to the body. Dyson offered us 20% or replace the following: battery, body, and wand - it would cost several hundred dollars to (potentially) fix the issue. We have to dogs that shed - I vacuum a lot. Not sure what the heck to do; I’ve always used Dyson but now I’m afraid of spending our hard earned money on a machine that’s going to break in two years. If I go with someonething else, it’s either, Miele, Hoover, or Shark.
My canister is now sliding down too. Not going to purchase a replacement and will wait till this dies. I'll probably go with a Shark when the time comes.

Thanks. It does take time in beginning, but once you get your grove, it goes pretty fast.
If you add a pinch of xantham gum to the mixture it will thicken it and make it into an actual syrup 👍
This problem stems from a crack in the trigger. Amazon offers an inexpensive replacement trigger that is more robust than the original one and there are several videos on TH-cam showing how to go about replacing it.

Thank you. It's a bit time-consuming, but not difficult. I think if you use a slightly thicker rope it won't take as long.

I think more anchor points for the weave would need to be added and I would probably do it in a horizontal weave.

I ran out of twine after finishing the center. Do I have the wrong type of twine? Please advise.
Sorry, I forgot to put the supply list in the description. Twine balls come in different lengths, so you might need another ball. I used about 200ft. or entire large ball of twine. Also, the size of of the twine could make a difference too.

Most craft stores will sell the yarn. I think I bought mine at Hobby Lobby and Michaels. If you can't find it locally, it can be ordered online on Amazon.

How long does it take?
If you have an entire day free, you can get it done. I broke it down into two days. One day to make all the money flowers and the next day for assembly. It's the money flowers that take up most of the time. If you have helpers, it can easily be done in a day.
