I just noticed that they announced top 5 in an order that was preeeeetttyyyy close to how the final order ended up. Odd. Christell and Danika were flip flopped in the end.

@@Missuniversevip Yes I agree with you. However, when I combine swimsuit and evening performances overall on final night, based on skill level and technique in their presentations: 1. Virginia, 2. Kentucky, 3. Michigan, 4. Hawaii, and 5. Ohio fighting for that last Top 5 spot. Texas did so much better during her prelims than during finals so for her not advancing into Top 5 is justifiable for me.
@@Missuniversevip No hate for Oklahoma and Tennessee. Those ladies are super stunning! But realistically (and you can always go rewatch their performances), they weren't the actual standouts for both SS and EG.
@@Andresmarc365 I know that Oklahoma was an underdog to many people including me. We did not expect Oklahoma to get that far in the competition. Although, I’m very proud of her!
@@Missuniversevip I actually had Texas, Massachusetts, and her close by my Top 5 overall. The judging panel just had different opinions.

All I can say is, Michigan stood out in finals swimsuit performance. I didn’t notice her in the prelims. She is not as tall as the other ladies hence she didn’t stand out. If Kentucky nailed her final answer, she probably would’ve won. But unfortunately none of the ladies really wowed me with their performance and final answer. Kentucky’s height and stage presence is undeniable and would give USA an advantage at Miss Universe. I like Michigan’s performance but she honestly doesn’t stand out in the top 5. She’ll need to increase her stage presence if she wants to perform well at Miss Universe. I want our 13 year placement streak to continue!

@@efgvwx No they did not 😭😭😭 I know you guys are always looking forward to see my dress rehearsal footages but, the organization did not sell any dress rehearsal tickets to the public this year. Miss Universe 2023 did the same too but, they only allowed the media press to come in.
@@Missuniversevip aww that’s okay!! that’s really odd how they are all of a sudden not having dress rehearsals to the public anymore. i was really upset when MU2023 didn’t have open rehearsals because i heard that whoever got called into the final dress rehearsal at miss universe were in the top 30, so it would’ve been nice to see which girls would’ve almost made it🥹
@@Missuniversevip and also that’s why i relied on r’bonneys youtube video to see who was called in the rehearsal lmaooo but we could only see who the top 3 were, which is better than nothing i suppose. but yeah the media that was let in were only recording michelle, shweta, and other fan favorites like zuheilyn (honduras), diana (venezuela), and karla (puerto rico) ect. :(
@@efgvwx My guess was probably the organization was fed up with people stealthy recording/taking pictures during the dress rehearsals then posting it online immediately. They might have tried to prevent this from happening now on.
@@efgvwx I had to get back to you right away after seeing Dani Walker’s latest episode. She revealed that the contestants told Dani that there were NO dress rehearsals at Miss USA! I couldn’t believe it! They had to perform their best without any sort of rehearsals. That is insane!!! 😡😡😡

Thailands answer was hella generic and her downfall with the whole be the change and lead by example as well as not addressing who malala was and how she survived an assasination. Australia was a cop out answer. it was more generic than thailand

Thailand’s answer was fantastic but, it would be greater if she could add about how amazing it was for Malala to overcome a bullet wound from her head as a little girl and continued her advocacy. That is one thing that I commend Malala for as she got back on her feet and not let it destroy her life and future. She’s now doing very well as a grown woman and I am proud of her sacrifices. Australia’s answer was too plain and it’s more like a kindergartener response. Any kid would mention their mother or father first when it comes to a question like that.
