After finishing the video, I see why you dropped "giant" when you were talking about your catch. It's giant bait, giant cargo ships, and....big fish. It's not that big.
It definitely felt big while we were fighting it! 😂 Our other rod snapped that day, so we were using a different setup, which made it hard to gauge. We were definitely expecting some bigger fish with that size bait, though! 😂

Dude. Idk where you learned to fish. Wayy too much line between your weight and hook. I literally can use a 1ft steel liter with a weight and catch grouper. You're doing too much
Long leaders down here in south Florida are a necessity when bottom fishing. On this day we were targeting mutton snapper and for those fish you need an extremely long leader. A lot of people use different tactics to catch them there is no right or wrong in fishing but the long leaders is definitely the most popular way to do it. The grouper we caught was bycatch not really our target fish!
Your fish is putting up a huge fight you don't even have a bend in your rod LMFAO and your leader is way way way way too long you don't need it that long
Bottom fishing gear we had this day was overkill. Our other rod snapped so we decided to just use our trolling rod for this type of fishing not really ideal. 😂 The long leaders are also a must down here in south Florida we were mainly trying to target mutton snapper and these mutton’s usually won’t bite if you don’t have a long leader.

This was filmed during tilefish season, so this fish was definitely going in the cooler! 😂 We wouldn’t have been fishing in this spot if it weren’t the season.

Nice, looks like fun. It looked like you never slowed the boat down and kept trolling even with fish on. You cleared the other lines but never stopped the boat, why?
We keep the boat moving fast to maintain as much tension as possible on the fish, which helps prevent the fish from getting away and it helps from having the fish cut your line!
