That's not enough damage. Time passes quickly and you need to eliminate the ships before they get out of range. Using fighter with bombs will not deal enough damage. There are bombers available for a reason.
Try 4 squadrons of Bombers, 2 Oscar squads with bombs and 2 without and send them to the middle. send the oscar bombers after the destroyers regular oscars after hurricanes and bombers for carrier. then just torpedo the fuck out of whatever battleship is nearest to what island.
no where, its useless to use oscars bombs on the BBs, best bet for any damage would be the turrets and magazines, but anywhere other than those will be no damage
Hey I would sugest doing a Hell Dive goinf as high as you can then just nose down on the carier. You were sortove comind down on a bad angal were all their guns can get you.
naa saving tulagi took me 2-3 times but ull get use to it use 1 squad of airplanes on each squad if your really gd you could shoot down the airplanes very fast so it shoulnt be that hard just keep trying and thius mission i sunk the prince of wales but not the repules i had that thing at the orang i would had a big ass attack for come in at em and kill em all.
You do not need to torp the carrier . Attack the Repulse first besause she faster than Prince of Wales . Torp the torpedo then KAMAKAZIE!Besause your planes will not back to base . Whan the plane back to base ,they have been AA fire shot down .
Dude, I know exactly what you are talking about. In the mission "Saving Tulagi" I can never destroy all of the dive bombers...there are just too many! And even if 2 or 3 get through then you fail. Very tough mission!!!
The trick is to attack with all your planes at once from both airfields, take out the carrier first with dive bombers then torpedo the hell out of both BB's.

and do not, do not waste G4Ms on the carrier, they are your best bet for taking out BBs, use oscars with bombs instead on the carrier
no, they just get shot down from the sides, but hurricanes will claim a lot, and i mean a lot of your planes before you even get in range of bb aa

my planes were boming the carriers my two engines cought fire and it still flew but i crashed trying too land :(

Mi trick to bomb carrier with kates then torp repulse first because it has more aa firepower and is somewhat faster then take out prince of wales.
