It reached the point where the whole game is only raids and the rest of the dungs doesnt matter so we will see them empty, after many years playing doesnt feel fun to play but is still good to share time with friends But sucks so much the amount of stuff and time or money is needed to reach endgame, progress the gear, levels till certain point dont give something worth to go for, and how restricted the party comps must be to play the raids without count rosso Recently been only logging to share time with friends but apart of that is just another game, not so worth to go so seriously on it

The game died as soon as KD values didn't matter. I think Hamel was the last good expansion. Then we got the open world vibe, which was cool, but it added more quests and screwed with exp gains, though it was already a grind. Sander was a well designed PvE progression... but the demands for equipment started creeping waaayyyy higher than ever. All this while characters were being reworked to be less interesting/challenging for PvP as well. Less launches, more ways to reduce KD without having to focus on managing it, more mana, more ways to break combos and even reverse them in some matchups (elesis stoic was a mistake), higher damage that was gated through sockets and grind fest secret dungeons, meanwhile pvp sets could barely keep up. GROUND IMPACT, RECKLESS FIST MISSES YOU WHEN YOU LAUNCHED INSTEAD OF GIVING MINUS 50% ACCURACY. WHO ASKED FOR THAT??? HAZE EXPLOSION WILL NEVER LAUNCH AGAAAAAAAAIN.

It's felt like a trillion years of waiting for Jinhsi to drop holy fuck

It's kind of like maplestory where I play the game for about a few months because of hyper burning events that give me 3 levels every time I level up, and then essentially after I get to 200, the grind becomes a lot more of a pain. There are events that give you a lot of levels, and I do mean a LOT of levels. If you are running a class that is insanely good at mobbing, then you can kill 2000 mobs near your level right now, and get 1000 exp vouchers, but you can only do those 2000 3 times a week. But you can also do your daily quests and bosses to get more xp. After 200, it takes a considerable amount of time to get to 260 outside of events.

Yeah Elsword's endgame level are just straight up ridiculous. Back then I had a +11 raid weapon, over 90% crit dmg, crit rate, and max and that isn't even close to the power rating needed to enter the later dungeons. Because of this I can't progress the story. Any game whose stories are barred behind outrageously high power rating are just not worth it.

If the arguments of this video didn't convine someone, the screen sure as hell does. I mean if I can't look at whats going on, because each buff of each character gets in the ways as well as every animation of the different skills make it hard to see what *I'm* actualy doing, it's not fun. I yearn for the old elsword like so many others in this comment section even though old Elsword had a lot of problems (especially with p2w) back in the day, where the challenge did not come from "have you grinded enough?", but from timing the potions and manage the mana given as well as remembering your combos.

I took the golden age from 2010 to 2013, I had to ration mana, survive in each dungeon screen by rationing potions, spend days doing skills and class missions, play as a team and not have anyone clear the entire screen with one button, I miss that game, it was the best game I've ever played in my life and to this day no other game has surpassed it and never will.

Man this games was so god damn good back in the days. "started playing when Raven was a new character" I loved the shit out of this game, couldn't get enough, it was always a grindy game. Lanox was the last ok season, then they updated every dungeon before that village and now every beginning to mid dungeon was just a joke and not worth playing and the +12 minimum requirements to even have a chance to finish a dungeon decently limited anyone's progression and old Hidden Dungeon equipment was nerfed. It began to go downhill my poor Lord Knight was struggling tu even survive the first rooms of any Elysion dungeon. Stopped playin because also they removed many skills in the time where you couls implement scrolls to your skills, Idk why they got rid of them and then they also removed slot B switching and just made it so now you have to use more keys on your keyboard making it harder to play. I wanna play another game like Elsword but there is none, and DFO just doesn't cut it.

Rgoughly everything went downhill in 2k18 with the introduction of the void weapon and elrianode gear that you could upgrade to +11 for bonus effects. That huge power creep ruined tons of fun but now the community is crap too kek. Ther only way you can have fun as a solo player is to stop caring about the community as a whole and just enjoy your own farming or whatever you'd like to do in the game.

Man I have spent 3 entire years of my life levelling my 5 characters to lvl 99, it was so grindy it took me 8h of playing daily back then. I’ve also put in more than 1000€ in my account. This game was the best anime game ever, shame and sad what happened to it. This game was and will always be a part of my identity. It was my first pc game ever.

I miss the old days and I wish it was better or at least there was a game similar to it. As an antisocial player I just liked experiencing the game with auto-party so raids are basically impossible for me and uninteresting since you have to 'know a guy', get a whole group, and start grinding. Even if it's not the same, try out a deck builder called Chrono Ark.

To be honest, I still like Elsword, although I would NEVER EVER recommend playing the official servers. The official servers are so money hungry that they take away basic needs from you like inventory space, bank space, shared bank, outfits, everything, and the events rarely compensate for any of this. If you’re going to play Elsword again, just play a private server. Yes, the game isn’t what it used to be (it actually used to require lots of skill but now it’s kinda brainless button mashing), but the private servers are much more fair, lively, and active. And you don’t have to pay to get CP (I got 4.1m by playing semi-regularly and I’m not even as active as most of the people I’ve seen on there but I was still able to regardless).

The start of the decline was when they killed everyones gear because they added Maximization and we lost 100%crit. The MAIN thing that absolutely killed pkayer retwntion from the beginning was the fact that the Character outfits expired after class Ascension.

i used to play it on 2012 - 2013 and quit because i was just a child that could not handle the farming due to school and other factors, now that i am an adult and work online, i have plenty of time to play it and if i need, i can just get my card out of my poked and pay a few bucks to advance quicker, i have never been the type of player that p2w or p2f, but elsword really makes you do that otherwise you have to spend an insane amount of time on it, but i really don't mind because i have played so many online games and most of them are way more stressful for me than just doing daily quests or spamming a single dungeon to farm EXP, i find it very relaxing at this point of my life for some reason. I found a guild that is very active and they have helped me a lot so i guess i'll play it for some time till i just don't feel like playing anymore. But, yes all what you say on this video is true, still the game is pretty entertaining to me xD

I havent played in awhile. The CP grind is a little annoying since i rather avoid dropping money on too many korean based games, but at leaat the titles are more attainable because i recall that being a nightmare

nah, game is not worth. All skill has been taken out of them game with all these easy catch skills they added in game. I was able to fight people in pvp with no armor and just a weapon and win consistently against them because of my actual skill. nowadays its all about gear and only gear

Remember Fist Of Fu(East Fantasy)? The game from early 2000’s that was on Outspark that got shut down after KOG threatened to take legal action against the developers for ripping off Elsword? That game was Elswords version of Palworld. Yeah doesn’t seem too late to start working on a private server right? Honestly, I would love to go back to playing but, the game had become way too P2W. Especially with the new combat power system they put into place where you cannot progress or enter any new dungeons if your character lacks the required combat power. I also hate how they took a good portion of the dungeons, fields, and maps out the game. And I feel like they made it 10x harder to upgrade and enchant your equipment.

What the fuck is happening on screen? Why buffs cover whole screen? Who programmed that? I rembember times when it was fun to play... When i created my first character i believe lvl cap was 50. But everything that came up after Atlas it just make game worse and worse. Even Atlast itself show a lot of problems.

Everything you said about NA applies to rift, community wise. Rift dev saying "our community is great," I laugh. Rift server is great but not people :p Maybe same ppl moving servers here and there

The worst part is they migrated so many servers in 1 server and that server is delayed asf destroyed the only fun thing it has and thats pvp

played for the first time in 4 years, got boosted to lvl 80 in 2 hours by the game. I assume its compensating for the lack of players but it took the spark out of it tbh..
