@@IAMLAGANA u didn't show how to make something awesome, u showed how to make something look amateuristic. The ai vo sounds awful, greenscreen key looks like dogwater.. this could never be used in a professional setting or even for a yt short at least not the way u did it.

It definitely is just for fun that I would not use it in any professional manner. I do think that creative exercises like what Doug Doug has done with it is the best use case for sure though

I agree it's definitely not for every word. I think they definitely do have their place like for talking heads or to emphasize the main points of a video.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm working on the redundancy haha, I've noticed that too recently. I actually cut out how to create the sample because I figured it was extra. You record a 1-minute sample using software (I just use the Windows default one Sound Recorder). Once you upload the mp3, 11Labs then synthesizes the sample and generalizes it using AI. The free version comes with 10000 characters which replenishes every month, which was enough for me to play around with for my entire video. I'm not sure how much the celebrity voices are, I had to request to use that voice so I assume it's use-case dependent. On their own website, 11Labs actually gives alternative websites depending on what you want to do which is cool. When you record a 1-minute mp3 clip, I use Sound Recorder on Windows, you go to "voice" click "add voice" and then upload the mp3. You should be all set from there. The AI synthesis uses AI to generalize your voice to everything. The sample has to be at least 1 minute long but if you give it a more detailed sample, the AI version will be more stable and accurate. Hope this helps!

Glad you liked it! Visla was really easy for me to learn and the user interface was pretty well done. You can upload your own video but only up to 200 megabytes. You can also upload a voice sample too so if you wanted to use somebody else's voice it should work. You can upload a voice and a video at once and then describe how you want the voice/video to be and the length. The AI will make the script sound as similar as it can to the sample. I don't think you can use different voice samples at the same time so you'll have to play around with that. Some words or sentences might be a little wonky as it's definitely not perfect. Try it out and let me know how it goes!

Just to compare free versions. That makes sense Copilots base is Chatgpt 4 and how much more advanced it was. In that case testing chatgpt 3.5 was the unnecessary one

Like sports betting? There are a couple like BetIdeas and Leans.ai that train their ai specifically to be predictive, but I've never tried them and I don't really sports bet, so I can't tell you for sure.

It is definitely still improving and the better the prompt you give it the better the output will be. It does have a free character limit that resets but it's really high and you can buy more credits. I don't know if it's got a plagiarism check tho

I think it's definitely an ethical and moral issue if you use AI 100% and pretend it's your own. I feel like the whole point of fiction is to be creative and make it your own. So AI would definitely defeat the purpose on that front, you're right. Thankfully no AI is on a competent enough level to compete with any actual author yet.

My answer to / take on that is i dont know. However in far future though, we wont even have to work at all.

On their website they claim that all the videos are unedited and unaltered from the prompt. 🤷 I wanna believe that it's human made but idk. in these sample videos I can definitely see some inconsistencies but considering this is still barely in beta, it's spooky to me for sure

@@IAMLAGANA The videos with humans are more easily seen as [deepfakes], due to how keenly attuned people are to the so called Uncanny Valley aspect, yet the ones with objects, terrain, plants and animals seem far more realistic (right now). That will change soon though. Our ability to detect deepfakes is going to be usurped by the ability of AI to create deepfakes. If self awareness occurs...then perhaps we have taught machines how to lie on a scale that humans cannot. Hopefully, they would choose not to. Or their "masters" will prevent them from doing so... In many ways, I still hope that these concepts will only be a stepping stone on the path towards using AI for what people cannot do, as opposed to using it to make some people obsolete. There is also the paywall aspect. This tech is not cheap, and those who control it will have more power than those who cannot use it.

It can only do linguini from what I've seen so far so we are safe for now 🙏

My honest hope is that once some multi-use AGI exists...that companies will realize that the logistics, biotech and theoretical physics sectors are far more profitable than making humans obsolete in simple or creative task fields. (&&OR consumers reject the products). This genie cannot be put back in the bottle though. AI is better than me in almost everything I can do or could do. And we are not even close to the full potential.

I've used chatgpt to for simple codevabd it's already semi accurate. In 3-5 years I have a feeling it'll completely take over. I have a buddy that just got a degree for 3d animation and his job will probably be obsolete too soon enough.
