Fuck the TH-cam algorithm. This video would have saved me an hour. Thanks for doing the good work
Getting them off isn't hard, it's putting them back on without the proper tool.
Thanks for the review! Good to see how it fits a KLR too
😎👌

Merci beaucoup l'Ami !
How does this fit on the GS I have a old GS 2008 and want this bag for my motorcycle
Muito bom
Just picked up the dry bag 620 for $80. This thing is massive. Have yet to try it out, but def looking forward to going camping with it
lucky you , i paid full freight, but its good so not wasted cash, enjoy the camping Jake!
The webbing is the MOLLE system. It's originally from military usage: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOLLE Do you still use that bag? I'm thinking about buying it.
Yes i have now had it for 2 years or so . i absolutely love it . Not one complaint . and i am a perfectionist type. The hack for me was to get a half dozen soft esky bags , like from super cheap auto, get different colours . and dedicate them, food, utensils/cooking/fist aid/ etc . then the whole thing is modular, when you get to camp you whip out the bags and voila, super organisation. i generally stuff the drop sides with less precious stuff like sleeping bags or these little esky bags, then keep the good stuff on the seat . I have never had anything get wet , even in torrential rain and snow . My only suggestion for improvements would be the attachment of the 4 straps to the bike. it uses a loop so you end up with a larks head knot.It works fine for me on the KLR . but if it was near heat or a sharp edge it might wear though. If you want to se a picture on the bike check out my Instagram page for my new invention and you will see the bag too. instagram.com/p/CFV35QAnZpY/?
I ride a Suzuki DR650. Is the bag on right side touching the exhaust of your KLR? Thanks.
no . i would avoid heat with this bag. like with any soft bag
RIP Long Tom. Be hard to put an actual figure on it but i can guarantee Yack and Beechie have lost a lot of tourist $$ by the closure of that hillclimb. Ppl used to come from miles away just to have a go at that infamous hill, and it's brother over the road [Tom Thumb] if they were after something even more challenging. Not now though, it's just a paradise for the lycra crowd :(
The 4wd wrecked it mate, check out the action on youtube, not to worry !
Infinity was awesome on a bike, that’s still there as far as I know
Thanks for posting this. I just bought an used m3 and notice this crackling sound. I'm hoping it's just the belt for mine too.
Was it the belt?
I have the sound too. Was it the belt?
the crackling sound is a dead giveaway for a cracked or perished belt. i installed a 1000kw belt on an extruder, it was perished. The sound pressure from the cracking was over 200dB. OMG, loud. My advice is just get a new belt anyway , i made a special tool to get it on with . if you want i can post a photo and dimensioned sketch
@@colinanderson6831 I would be interested yes. On mine, I think it's both the pulley's ball bearings that are damaged and the bearings from the pedal shaft (when I stand up, it makes a loud squeeking noise every time I go down on one side). The belt itself doesn't seem cracked at all.
What distance was on display? The ODO I mean when this started?
excellent tunes Mike!
irreplaceable memories!
The proper tool is available at Amazon www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GA8X2OC or us the picture there to grind the correct beak on your old pliers.
thanks ted. good advice, i just wanted to put up something so a newby could avoid my suffering of trying to work out how it functioned.
Hey mate. Done a lot of riding around Mt Pilot but keen to ride this stuff as well. Is this accessible from the Beechworth /Chiltern road side.
absolutely , its endless, all second gear, so many snags. i went in with a local actually cant remember how we did it, start at the tavern and head east on main st then continue south east on wool shed rd, then find a spot. sorry , watch out for logs
still happy about it?
hi Carsten , yes its great. i reckon just keep it away from heat , it will last ages. use the baggy idea
Thanks for the video and for 200 CAD its a no brainer or at least until Tusk releases a system for the 2018 + AT
You could fit half your household belongings in that, it looks great. The A$ price is good. I like how it’s so small folded up, and therefore very light. How is it in use? Could you use it offroad?
HI Ronan. It works great off road, I have had it now for over 12 months, i love it. there is non damage whatsoever.after 10 trips or more. Yes you could fit a whale in it, but it also rolls up at the top to keep the bag just the right size. it's really waterproof too. I have bought some cheap cooler bags ( like for for a 6 pack) they are the compartments, one for food , one for clothes etc. , you can fit a bag in each side like panniers, tent and sleeping bag in the middle, I have also added some carabeeners to the straps they give you, to make them quick disconnect.
Hi, where did you get The saxophone
Thank you for posting this last year =) I think your video has convinced me that this bag might be my best choice. Looks like they have made some modifications over what they originally released. The webbing is called MOLLE (modular retention straps) and can accommodate all sorts of add-on pouches, etc. Great addition!! Also looks like they eliminated the expanding bottoms on the overhangs.
thanks, i haven't used this feature but ill keep that in mind
The webbing looks like you can fasten other things like water bottles or small bags to it by running ties through the loops. I think the army have something similar on their kit bags. Thanks, good to see it stuffed with some gear and strapped to a bike. Hopefully it is a good bit of kit with no issue and very durable.
littleblackduc1 Hi That make sense. I have used the bag at least 6 times now. It is holding up well. It's a veritable cave to put stuff in. I have little soft cooler bags i use to separate my stuff. It works great. Gotta cinch it down hard to stop movement. Very waterproof
Thanks for the gig Colin Anderson.... awesome day!
