@@snowwalker9999 It could be considered slappy, and you’re right, the race foam is definitely on the firmer side, I think because of the Eva carrier beneath it.

@@muddshoes I chose a size 9 because I have A narrow foot(I’m usually a 10). I’d say for average feet do a half size down. On sizing is wildly inconsistent

I haven't personally tried the superblast, but that is a race shoe upper, so of course it (should) be more breathable. However, for a padded, plush daily trainer upper, the nova blast 4 is, in my opinion, a breathable shoe.

@CarloRuns honestly I had type of plantar fasciitis when you get it it does not matter much what type of shoes you have it still hurts. And max cushion was even worse because they are kind of unstable. That's what you get for sitting for 10 plus hours a day working and studying for 5 + years. Now after I started doing yoga again, moving, swimming etc. The pain is gone and I can enjoy shoes again. But this is crazy I have asics magic speed shoes now, they are amazing, but when I had the lain from plantar fasciitis I could not feel any cushion they felt like bricks under my feet. Even tho they are made from amazing foam. So don't neglect stretching and mobility in legs and back haha all these workout for deep muscles in the abs and legs it's not bullshit it really matters ;)

@wayneh4453 having both the cloudeclipse and the cloudmonster hyper, I can say that the cloudeclipse is way less durable, can’t really go past the 8-10 mile mark because it bottoms out, and it’s a lot slower. While the Hyper is definitely overpriced, it’s a way better shoe than the eclipse. It should be priced at $180-$200 max.

Which 4 shoes? While I do agree On does have a very polluted lineup, Those were the main Shoes Ive seen them marketing, so I tried to fit them in as best as possible.

@@CarloRuns I think the On Cloudsurfer/Cloudrunner for daily miles that can pick up the pace (depending on neutral/stability preferences), Cloudeclipse for recovery/long runs (Cloudmonster 2 feels unnecessary but has dual density foams so that’s cool), and Cloudboom Strike for race day. The Hyper is trying to compete with the plated trainers category but is technically just a premier version of the CM2 which feels like the Cloudeclipse could just be their one shoe for max cushion. The cloudflow 4 would be more lifestyle/casual like the cloud X. Idk, lemme know your thoughts

I definitely agree with you for the On Cloudsurfer Next, but from my experience with the Cloudeclipse and Cloudmonster, the eclipse is more plush for recovery but can’t really push it past 10 miles, it starts bottoming out, the cloudmonster hasn’t bottomed out on me yet (I have tried the 1, not the 2). And having tried the cloudmonster and cloud flow 4 for track workouts, the cloud flow has a way better rocker and faster, closer to the ground feel. You could honestly use the cloudmonster hyper or cloudmonster 2 for long runs, but the hyper really picks up the pace a lot better in my opinion.
