MidiBlink diy midi thru box

1 midi in, 3 midi out thru box. Midi clock signal on 2 leds, note triggers (whole, quarter, eight, sixteenth) can be changed with potentiometers.
What did you use to re-master this so cleanly? Great work.

It's a shame the 1970 Bob Hass show tape is in poor shape. This 1971 show is great.
No idea why the estate haven't jumped on this tape. It's pretty good quality. It would sit pretty well as a bonus on a reissue of 'A Gentle Evening with Townes Van Zandt'
fantastic
Very cool project! It made me wonder about the posibilities of de-syncronizing the sound machines in a syncronized way. Can you easily return it to the original sync? If that's possible I will certainly incorporate this feature in a midi box i'm planning to build. Thanks a lot for sharing and cheers from Chile
That would be a great feature. Basically it's a simple midi thru box, I made for a drummer guy who does not like the annoying clicking metronome sound and wanted to see the midi clock. :) I used arduino for led blinking, the incoming midi clock is divisible with potentiometers, but unfortunately the device does not send the divided midi clock.
Imagine If OMTM was produced like this, without all those belts and whistles... Boy is less more...
Is there an app/extension/program that can DL just the audio of a video like this? I NEED this version in my life!
Beautiful ❤.
thank you for this treasure, and for sharing ❤️🙏
I like this version a little softer, Townes is a great melodist, and the greatest storyteller of all! 🙏❤️thank you for this little moment out of time!
Melodist !! Great word.
A man and his guitar and words say so much😻

🎸I jam along with "Quicksilver Messenger Service" version on the Happy Trails album. I am diggin' this and want to Thank You for Sharing!!
Yet very different from QMS,, my favorite band
great art
It's better without the strings
I heard him play in Houston. Texas. Anderson Fair. I also know this song as sung by Dave Von Ronk and Tom Rush.
Jim Morrisson also performed this song on live shows
@@_polymonsta_6184 I did not know that. Thanks.
I have never heard this one before. Thanks. I have heard Townes play before in Houston, Texas.
Look at those eyes!!! Intense.
this song gives me chills all over.Master song writer.
Great American poet. Highly underappreciated.
In Which CD/LP is this included in?
This version is not released (yet :D), currently only available here. The original is on Delta Momma Blues th-cam.com/video/2oM4iXOdrsI/w-d-xo.html
@@_polymonsta_6184 Thank you! As a fan of JJ Cale, I am beginning to see how similar (in some ways) TWZ's life was to JJ's.
you CAN find it live on 'rear view mirror', he's older & gruffer but it FITS that way, crisp playing too...
@@markatr6 I did listen to that version, It IS good, in a different way, but I think this here is my fav. rendition of it. I can't stand the studio version - way too many strings and stuff.
The tape is currently held at Columbia University in New York.
This is great. Great recording . This is live ? Sounds like a raw studio take.
It was recorded on Bob Fass radio show in 1971 (Radio Unnameable). The original was not sounded right and I remastered.
@@_polymonsta_6184 thanks. I love this song . One of the greatest everwtitten and the first song I learned to play and sing. I figured if I can play mudd and gold and sing it , every thing else should be easy.
Good job!!!
great sound, thanks for posting
The Man
Better by himself live.
I hear some of where I lead me in this cover.
What are the chances that you have the whole broadcast at the same quality? All the available versions of the show rn are poor quality
I have the complete original radio show in good format but recorded in "fake-stereo" (guitar track on left, vocal on the right channel). This live record deserved an audio restoration so I digitally remastered and uploaded here
@@_polymonsta_6184 ya there used to be one or at least it sounded good be for some reason it was taken down. This is easily the best performance by him I think.
@@_polymonsta_6184 Could you please upload the complete radio show or send it to me personally?
@@Elias-314 I have the same request .... please!
@@shrimpu yes yes !!
a Ronnie Hawkins and the Hawks tune. The Hawks became the Band after they parted Ronnie.
