When you bought this box, how do know it contains yellow or gray soldiers? I like gray ones more.

Italeri's the best!! Only trouble for me is sanding under the bases and on the helmets. Yours seem to be smooth already from the cutting, can you advise? Thanks!!

Also, I found the World War I German troops with the gas mask. You can see all the equipment fantastic so much better than any other company.

Hi some very useful info. One tip that I would offer is that when you are trying to show us some detail use a plain background. With all of the other stuff there the camera focuses on the background and not the subject. It will help us to see what you are trying to show us. Best wishes.

J'aime beaucoup les kits italeri j'aimerais bien les collectionnés mais il sont trop cher et à part les décors qui sont très bien ainsi que les autres maquette par contre ont retrouve toujours les mêmes petits soldats ils n'inovent pas à ce sujet et c'est dommage

I have to say, these sets are superb. Italeri figures have always been good. Paint the Mdf with weak solution of PVA, that helps with providing a good painting surface, cheaply and quickly.

Is the plastic harder than the yellowish kit?

This is a nice kit. I like these Italeri battle sets. Great idea to use wall house paint for the MDF and the texture looks great. New sub here and thanks for posting! Pat

Damn, damn, triple damn, I've just ordered one before finding this vid. Edit : the flash on this kit is a kit on its own ! A simple hobby knife will not suffice. It is mindboggling. Small parts missed injection completely and are actually as good as non-existent. This will require a whole new level of scratch building, please pray for me.

Try unboxing a box of modern Russian soldiers. You will find it empty. They have all deserted 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

nice kit I suspect that the soldiers are ex ESCI as I recognise the Russians. I bought the originals way back in 1982 and I still have them.

Gone and forgotten... Would have been nice to update your Subs that you had quit .

however in my opinion the best minifigures are those of the "ESCI" brand (from the 80s), although about 40 years have passed, Italeri should have manufactured minifigures similar to those to be integrated with the old ESCI armies .... in fact I was disappointed when I saw the new italeri sets at the time (released about 15 years ago)

the detail is nice, but I don't understand why italeri made them bigger than the other older italeri minifigures (reprints of the ESCI brand) which are smaller....

Ben, you've inspired me with this video to improvise with this group. I like how you you modified the fenders but I am curious what you did with the wheels. By the way, you can also use the spares from their Valentines to make more armor from that kit.
